Here's what you're up against

I really hope BU can pull this off tonight, because I think the best of 3 Championship will be really fun to be a part of. That being said it's gonna be tough, This home/road thing in these tournaments is huge. There's is no doubt in my mind that if this game were at Carver tonight, BU would prevail. It seems we can never get that 3rd home game in these tourneys, we've gotten the first 2 a couple of times, but always end up going on the road for a 3rd. We've lost the last 3 or 4 road games in the NIT, it's time we end the streak.

BU got screwed in '94 by having to go on the road to a crackerjack box in Albany against Siena because the NIT wanted a team from NY in the Garden. We hung with them for a while, but some 5'8" guard named Bennerman went for about 30 and ended our season. That game should have been played at Carver Arena but wasn't.

BradleyBrave............That's the EXACT game I was thinking about when I wrote my last post. It's always something that costs BU that 3rd home game, even though we usually/potentially out draw most other programs left. We just need to step up and win the road game, 1982 style.

I'm just glad our guys decided to get on that plane and play the game knowing they were up against the mighty ACC.

C'mon guys he came on the board last night and congratulated us. Every fan has pride in their team, we just happened to get the better of them last night. What a great win, onto Tulsa!

Hey....I was just wondering how he felt after seeing his team lose by double digits on their own floor to a lowly Missouri Valley team. Like I said, I'm just glad our guys were able to get on that plane and make the trip into the mighty ACC.

Well, I am sorry I did not see his post. I just did not see it. Was it in another thread? I do not have time to read all the threads on this board all the time, so, man Dogsrus relax. And as far as what some dude from Virginia thinks about me... who cares. I'm just a hick professor from a hick school in a third tier conference. Thanks for jumping down my throat Dogsrus. OK. Kudos to the Virginia guy who came back to congratulate us as he is now considered a hero by me in our little BU fan board.

I misspoke and apologize. He was not a hick sissy (since he did come back). No, he was just an ignorant ACC fan who has been brainwashed into thinking nothing exists west of the east coast. I'll try harder to never again post anything on this board that would in the slightest way offend anyone, anywhere, anytime, or make this board appear to be anything but a bunch of loving benevolent angels of the hardwood. Everything I say will be positive, caring and loving. Man, peace brother. (WOW, I feel like I am back in the 60's again).

I saw Clemson play this year and I agree that they would have had a good chance to win the MVC.....................big, physical team, good guard play and great coach. Heck, I picked them to go farther in the tourney than they did. UVA on the other hand would have finished in middle of Valley pack, just like they did in the ACC.

Agreed. That will be fun to celebrate at home. I think we can beat them on the road with a good game.

I think Chico is probably referring to my "tongue in cheek" silly little rant. Just a guess. Sorry Chico. Go ahead Moderators and delete my silliness.

I would not have much to say most days if my stupid comments were to be deleted. Of my nine years of college I know somewhere in there is a degree in stupidity. Every morning I wake up and tell my wife, "Honey, today I am going to do or say something stupid, I just want to say I am sorry."
