Here's what you're up against

clemson would win your conference.....

Tunnel vision.....

Remeber that knucklehead Kansas fan came over here a few years ago with some video of one of their primadonnas dunking, he said this is what your going to get or something really stupid. then we proceeded to give Kansas a beatdown. Wonder why we never seen him again?

Any way, I hope Virginia thinks we'll be an easy game for them.

And Gary Williams said that the 5th or 6th best team in the ACC could win the MVC.
He said that right before his 2006 Maryland squad got a home game against the bottom NIT seed,
Manhattan, then he promptly went right to work losing on his home court to Manhattan.

But the real clincher is that Maryland WAS the 6th best team in the ACC this season
.....and Maryland lost at home to OHIO...who of course lost last night to Bradley!!

AMEN & AMEN
Pooe Gary Williams always opening mouth and inserting foot. I am still waiting for hime to take Hinson's offer to play MS and now that BH is gone he may finally even do it.
For the ACC fans it is time to quit whining and start to improve your non-conf schedule. If schools in the MVC played the likes of Howard, Longwood, Hampton, Elon and Hartford we would have all won more then 20 games. (the problem is we would be told that our schedules were not tough enough if we did) Yes the ACC is a tuff conf but only through the top 5 or 6 teams. (I hope I am right about this as we play V tomorrow night & they finished 10th-already knocked off the #10 team in the Big East which was rated the best BB conf in the country)

I'm not going to lie...I'm a little nervous that it's at Virginia. Our guards can't afford to be cold from 3 point land. If the game comes down to "bigs" we're going to get dominated. Those guys have games against people like Tyler Hansborough. What would have happened tonight without the home crowd advantage of powering them through the last 8 minutes? We can win...but it has to be done from behind the 3. But then again I don't want to get psyched out about these guys, after all, they are still a CBI tournament team. Whatever that may mean.;)

NERVOUS, COLD, DOMINATED,TYLER HANSBOROUGH, AND PSYCHED OUT!!!!!!
What the hell??!! You Scared??? Theres no place for that!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you have changed your panties from last nights game!!!!!!!!!!
Bradley 78, Virginia 69 Now quit biting your pinkie!!!!!!!!!1

Haha. I'm just saying I hate Disney on Ice. I'd feel a lot more comfortable if it were at Bradley. And no I'm not scared, just wishful thinking I guess. Note the comment about how I'm not psyched out because they are still in the CBI. I did wake up this morning with a renewed idea of Wednesday's game. I think our guys are going to be pumped up and excited about this game and come out firing and never let up. Knock on wood (I'm very superstitious).

Bradley 108 Virginia 67 haha

Well, from what we've been hearing, I don't think it would have mattered whether Disney on Ice was in town or not. I think Bradley was going to be shipped out on the road regardless.

The good thing about the CBI is that they probably will be far more receptive to the non-BCS schools than the NIT will be. But ultimately, they would like to see a BCS team win the thing, or at the very least be given the chance to make the finals. Not so much because they want the team to win. Just that they may draw more in some cases (not always, but sometimes), and more importantly, it will give more credibility to the tournament.

I do however believe that Bradley has the talent to beat Virginia. It's just trying to battle their crowd that will be the most difficult variable to deal with. But if Richmond and ODU nearly beat Virginia, I do believe Bradley will have as good a shot as anyone to pull off the victory.

Tall task IMO. Just played Monday.....short turnaround, no time to really rest physically AND mentally. On the road in a hostile enviroment.

I just don't see how we can be fresh enough to pull it off.......

And as they mentioned in the paper...DR is NOT 100%. You could tell he is not very mobile.

Good luck guys...lace em up and give em your best shot.

The prize one more time, maybe two in front of the greatest fans in hoops.

I would almost promise a sellout IF we bring it back to Peoria......

BU is the 4th seeded team, so the best we can hope for is one more game at home. Check the CBI website.

Yes, we are the 4th seed. However, A) we had to go on the road, and B) they didn't want an all CUSA final. I would think they may leave it open to determine the home court advantage after the games tonight. Don't know if that's 100% true, but I would think given the circumstances, they may reserve that right.

If they wanted us to have a prayer of 2 home games, they would have seeded our game as the 2-3 with the other as the 1-4

I still think it will have more to do with how the teams are playing and what kind of support they've gotten in their arena than the seed in the quarterfinal. The CBI can do what they want, and I bet they'd take the prospect of two games at Bradley over two games at Houston (for example).

I wouldn't put it past them considering they reserved the right to put the only remaining #1 seeds against each other in their final four, but this is what the CBI website is currently showing, therefore I'm not very confident we would get more than one more home game.

This whole thing is getting to be a joke. If you're going to have a tournament have a tournament. Arbitrarily deciding who plays where half way through the tournament is bush league. They need to seed the tournament from the begininning with the higher seeds getting the home games. Bradley is one of the number one seeds to get through to the semis and all the sudden we are a four seed? They need to stop worrying about politics and viewership and make this a legit tournament. Seed the teams 1 through 16, do it right.

Agreed......the whole seeding process is making a joke of this tournament in my mind as well.

This is no different than the way the NIT was done prior to the NCAA purchasing it a few years back. BU got screwed in '94 by having to go on the road to a crackerjack box in Albany against Siena because the NIT wanted a team from NY in the Garden. We hung with them for a while, but some 5'8" guard named Bennerman went for about 30 and ended our season. That game should have been played at Carver Arena but wasn't.
