News Flash-- re:Andrew Warren

Great news! I suspect he'll work into shape slowly, and wouldn't expect to see him play much, if at all Monday.

Wonderful news! I'm sure the staff will take it slowly, there's no reason at all to rush him. Championships can't be won in October, but they can sure be lost. Great news today.

Saw him walking into Haussler today a little after 4pm. He was walking without anything on his ankle/foot or even a slight limp. I guess that's expected since he's cleared.. but when I saw him I hadn't seen this thread yet, so I got to thinking...I really doubt he will play Monday. I wouldn't risk playing him if he isn't completely game ready.

Hope he does not even suit up on Monday and would imagine he wont.

I think a few minutes, less the 15 v Platteville.

After that we have 5 games in 12 days including 3 consecutive. He has about 16 days to get his wind back for UIC. Probably wont have it completely by the Florida game but I would imagine he will be all up and ready to go 100% by UKMC. I hope Im wrong and he is in mid season form for the Florida game. Having depth really helps with making it less an urgent issue for AW.

My guess he will not play untill he is in complete game shape. Basketball shape is so different then just being able to run all day. I'm sure the staff does not want to risk it for one and second they know what they have with him and now they can test the newbies.

Good News.....cannot wait for A-Dub to take over this year....AW and TW will both make the Valley 1st team! :D

Great news! I see no reason for him to play Monday. We all know what AW brings to the table, so let's get the new guys some action and not risk anything with AW.

Like the article states; A.Warren already knows the system Bradley runs there is no reason for him to take any chances of re-injury, this will give us a better chance to see more of the new guys and which one of them is ready to contribute now, look at how much Ruffins missed games last season gave Sam M. more time on the floor to prove that he was ready to contribute as a freshman last year.
