Postgame thread- BU 60 Wichita State 58

BU has had much better ball movement in the past couple games. Lots more open shots, less desperation 3s. If they keep this up, they'll do well.

what a way to celebrate the new year!
 
We outrebound them by 5, that's huge, especially in their own building. :)13-14 from the ft line as well.:-D
 
Awesome win by BU. WSU may be the dirtiest team I've seen in the MVC in a couple of years. Ref crew was all over the place... not saying they favored anybody, just seemed like they had no idea what was going on.
 
BU played a good, not great game, but a road win is huge..

Now I have to get over to bradleybasketballfans.com- It sounds like a good site...

I don 't get the games on my Dish Network. I am curious did McCain look flustered or out of control. I would guess he played well. He had nice stats, but they have him listed at 8 turnovers. I wondered if that was right.
 
I thought Mccain looked great, and appeared to be in control. They must have credited a number of turnovers to him that weren't all his fault, because after a couple early ones, I don't recall more than a couple more obvious ones!

I don't know about the TO's but he looked really good and it appears that Les has a lot of confidence in him. He made a great play taking it along the baseline and dishing it off for a score, kind of like Ruff use to do. He looks good.

Great win in one of the most physical games I've seen BU play in a long time. This was not a game for boys...The refs did seem to be lost on how they were going to call the game. Their were bad calls both ways tonight and it was great to see our young guys play through it. EM was being hounded pretty good all night. His TO's were high but he did a great job on defense and had some great passes down the stretch. He is going to be fun to watch over the next few years. Theron was a beast gaurding Clement. He has become the leader on the floor IMO. Sam Singh was very solid tonight and it was great to see him get the game winner. It was also very cool to see his dad right behind the bench giving high fives to everyone within reach after Sam scored. Overall a great road win and we are 2-0 in the MVC!

Quite a few Wichita State fans on the board are complianing that they didn't get the foul called on David Collins on the inbound play with 0.9 seconds left. Apparently Marshall was upset they didn't get the call, too.

Too bad. That's really a weak call if they make it.

I didn't SEE the play... but honestly, DC couldn't run over a shopping cart. They think they are gonna get a foul outta DC in that situation... sorry - I am just left belly laughing.

I didn't see it.. but listened to the Bradley announcers.. and they were surprised it was not called. Both seemed to think it should have been called.. but were glad it was not.
