Bradley Slamma Jamma

This team can use a whole lot of "enthusiasm." Maybe then, when they have "entusiasm" they can have "class."

so you can only have class when you have enthusiasm? hmmmm

Something about that doesn't sound right. Besides most on this team do IMO.

Where's all of our Tivo guys LOL. Get some of them dunks on youtube. I wasn't able to catch any replays and want to see some of them again. Actually some of them are on PJstar's youtube video but they missed out on the big Roberts olley oop.

Jason

This is the way I remember it. Chris was in a flight pattern towards the rim and SM threw him a long high fast pass which turned out to be behind Chris' right wing - because he was flying so fast. He turns his right shoulder back, in midair flight, and catches the ball in one hand and then KABOOOM. What was so amazing is the play started well away from the rim. Chris was flying:-D I agree with you, I want to see this posted somewhere so I can email it to myself and watch it a couple more times and send it to a couple of my Illini friends.

I really don't think CR was legitimately trying to dunk at the end of the game. It looked completely half-a$$ed and like the way someone would fake dunk in warm ups or something. Then again...maybe he did slip and that's what ruined it haha

I know I have seen this in the past, seeing players in a game won, but still close, just throw it off the glass, really not trying to make it but to keep the ball going in the right direction and to burn the final few seconds. Chris slips, he has no one to pass it to, he just throws it towards the glass and burn the final few seconds. Better than throwing it back over his head towards the other basket. If he doesn't slip, he would have dribbled it out. That's just the way I think I saw it, watching on the computer. Congrats to Chris, great game. And we have many more to look forward to!!!

I don't think it's a big deal. But I think he was definitely trying to dunk off the glass. He was virtually by himself going toward the basket all he had to do was dribble around

Agreed. Is there even any doubt? ;)

Not at all.

Meanwhile, I hope Chris Roberts doesn't get lost again. When he was playing well at the beginning of the conference season, we were winning. Then he was almost nonexistent until Creighton. Now, hopefully, he carries this over to the remaining home games and especially the road games. If that means doing stupid showboat things at the end of the game to raise his confidence, then so be it. This guy is an amazing athlete. Next year, we'll have another solid group of high-flyers in CR, TB, WE, JW?, etc.
