Will be like Christmas morning. I have no idea what we are getting. I hope it isn't a lump of coal. I was never good at enjoying the surprise. I would sneek into the hiding spots and peek to see what I was getting. Guess I have no choice this year. It is awfull quite. Don't even know if John Wilkins will be signing or not.

It should be interesting to see waht happens. I just have to keep in mind that we already have a good young nucleus and even if we don't sign anyone we are not in bad shape.
 
It sounds like we're getting Wilkins or no one. Kind of disappointing we haven't had any verbals yet, but oh well. Recruiting has never been an issue here so I don't think it will be anytime soon.
 
Iowa State has not offered JW, and the only reason he was seen on the Iowa State campus is because someone invited him to accompany them on a trip to see the football game.

And there is a chance Bradley could be getting a LOI from someone other than Wilkins, but we'll have to wait and see if that happens.:rolleyes:

sssshhhhhhhh.......some people that have posted here recently would probably disagree. ;-)
 
Not specifically, but I know there are other players they are targeting. You never know when or if they might "pull the trigger".
 
I hope John Wilkens signs next week, I also expect to hear of 1 more signed recruit, have no rumors about anyone but just making a guess that 1 more player will sign next week.

Maybe it would be better to see how the remaining crop of 2010's look this season before worrying about getting the kids signed - there's always great options remaining in the spring...That's where we picked up Will Franklin, Dyricus, even TB..

Since BU is pretty well stocked with Fr and So right now, no need to panic if no LOI this fall...particularly if BU gets to redshirt one or more of their talented frosh.

IMHO, current depth at all positions works against BU in recruiting, until BU strings together some good seasons and post season exposure and becomes a place to be for better players..hopefully Peoria area's top talent! 8)

Hopefully BU can pick off under the radar talent next spring that develops later during this season, or, some top players that drop/lose scholarships due to injuries or over recruiting by the 'big boy' programs....
 
there is one local senior that is on BU's radar and I will go out on a limb and say the coach would love to see the kid play at BU!
 
OK... I am teased. PM me if you know who this local kid is. I can keep a secret... I have never told anyone yet I have a yellow Viper!
