Hilarious post on the Illini message board

heh. It's funny how one poster on that board is complaining about the Illini's rebounding!

There's some posters really beating up Weber over there. But thankfully there are also some voices of reason trying to calm them down. Illinois will be fine this year, and of course they have the built in advantage of many games against quality teams. So they have plenty of chances to prove they will be the team that many think they will be.

I sat among a lot of Illini fans. It seems many are not happy with BW's coaching or substitutions.

Quite the meltdown going on the Illini message board right now. But I loved this post talking about the "superior" Valley by a Saluki fan! :D Note the sarcastic tone of the post:

There's another interesting quote on the Illini board explaining that this (the BU loss) was exactly why Coach Weber doesn't schedule in state rivals like ISU and BU...SIU too.

I guess I have at least one thing in common with those posters now that BU pulled that one out last night. I really hope the Illini go undefeated from here on out. ;)

I honestly would think the Utah loss would be the one to be more angry at, since we'll be much better than them. This loss to Bradley won't be a "bad loss" on their resume but Utah will.

Illinois should be fine. One of the big gripes with Weber by their fans seems to be his "micromanaging" of his players. I don't know about that since I don't follow Illinois as extensively as I do Bradley, but I do know he did get his team to the NCAA Tournament last year with his own recruits. I know that's not good enough for some of their fans, but at least some Illini fans are trying to keep the rest of them from jumping off the ledge. I bet they come back and beat Clemson this week. If they do, this weekend will be forgotten.

Then again, maybe not. They lost to Bradley which they won't be able to live down for quite awhile! :D

I really hope they beat Clemson. I do not like rooting for Illinois, but a win at Clemson would be really big for them right now and of course good for us too.

I've seen Clemson live and on TV; they are VERY good. They have an incredible full court trapping press that creates a lot of turnovers. I would be surprised if Illinois beats them.

Illinois's offense looked lethargic in the 2nd half of Utah game and the whole BU game, mostly lots of one on one moves and not a lot of motion in their 'motion' offense.
