Top Duke Recruit back on the market

The first ever juco recruit that Duke has ever gone after...Carrick Felix....will not be going to Duke, and is back on the market looking for somewhere else to go.....
it was initially reported that his juco hours and credits are not acceptable at Duke........

and that may still be the case...but this site, quoting the kid's juco coach, is saying the kid simply wasn't good enough and realized he'd be riding the bench...

Now he would be a sweet get for us! We could show him films of CR, Boogie, TW and a few other high flyers that have done well in our system.

Didn't JP have interest or offer from duke when he was an 8th grader or freshman and was still a potential 7 footer?

Back in 2004, the media had reported that Shaun Livingston had narrowed his college choices to Illinois, and Duke. But when one reporter asked which one he would choose, he replied that he was still considering Bradley, too.

As everone knows, he committed to Duke, but then entered the NBA draft right out of high school.

Bradley was also actively recruiting Tyler Zeller until he "blew up" his junior year and got offers from the big boys, including North Carolina.

But in summary, Bradley won't be able to recruit against top 50 schools like Duke or UNC if they really want a kid.

Possibly against schools down around 40-50, but even they have things to offer that Bradley doesn't, like appearing on national TV, and highlights on ESPN, and other factors. Bradley has enough trouble recruiting against Ohio University, St. Louis U, Utah, and other midmajors.
