Evansville already lost to Akron 69-60-

And Loyola lost a close game to Michigan State 63-61-

Loyola got off to a slow start. Michigan State scored the first 9 points, and Loyola did not score until almost 7 minutes were gone in the game. Then Loyola came back to take a 28-23 lead at halftime. The game stayed close throughout the 2nd half, and was tied 61-61 inside the final minute. Loyola missed a couple chances to take the lead, and Michigan State scored just before time ran out to win 63-61. Loyola is now 4-1.

4 of the MVC games are finals, and the MVC teams have gone 2-2 so far.
In the 5th game, Illinois State is trailing Buffalo by double digits late in the 2nd half.

Unless ISU can rally and win their game, the MVC's overall record will drop to 24-31, and 19-31 against Division I opponents.
The MVC currently ranks 20th in conference RPI.
