Just read an article that Bruce Weber is not going to cut his hair until the NCAA does something about the illegal activities in college sports. He will look like Tom Hanks in Castaway before that happens. lol
 
Lots of rumors out there that MVC coaches are candidates for jobs with the coaches from Drake, Mo State and Murray State on many lists. Hope they all stay and we have a strong 2022-3 conference. Also really surprised that the Portal only has 3 MVC players on it-a freshman guard from Evansville and I am not sure he ever played, Hervey from Mo State and he left a month or two ago, and Key from ISUblue It’s still early but kind of surprising (not bad or god just surprising).

Thats because the bigger schools have not had time yet to make their covert phone calls trying to tamper with a player telling him to transfer to their school. Ala Bruce Pearl
 
Xavier parts ways with head coach Travis Steele.
What is unusual, Xavier won their 1st round NIT game last night and has advanced to the 2nd round.

There are rumors that they might be interested in re-hiring Chris Mack, their former coach, who was recently fired by Louisville.

Another former Xavier head coach Sean Miller is also being mentioned as a possibility. He was recently fired from Arizona for his involvement in the FBI pay-for-play scandal.
