Southern Illinois BIGGEST REGULAR SEASON HOME GAME - SIU - Pulling out all the Stops this Sunday

This Sunday's game at Southern Illinois is Southern Illinois most important BIGGEST HOME GAME of their regular season.
They are pulling out all the stops with a "Mardi Gras" Theme and bringing back a SWEET 16 team.
One game back of Bradley - they will come at Bradley like a BUZZ SAW and go for the jugular and start fast - wanting to quickly build a lead.

Bradley needs to remain focused. This game will be a huge test as to how well Bradley starts and handles hostile crowds.
Take your mind off of the upcoming DRAKE game and FOCUS on this game.

GO BRAVES !!!!

100% Agree - Tough place to play, SIU is one of the top winning schools at home over the last 5-years. The crowd will be engaged. One game at a time - Bradley is the better team, we have to play the full 40-minutes to win this one! GO BRAVES!!!

I think BU matches up well with SIU, but being a road game for us, plus a pretty lackluster performance at home against MoState last night, and I believe BU will have to bring their A game to get a win on sunday. Definitely going to be tough.

It's great to see Bradley at 20 wins on the season, with three games remaining. The game at SIU is certainly winnable. I think as long as we keep SIU from shooting well from the perimeter and stop their transition, we should be in good shape. Winning games like this negate any doubt if you are a true league champion.

Interesting - there are still A LOT of available seats for Sunday's game. I'm sure there will be a big push on tickets, but surprised at the availability a few days out for a weekend game with conference champion implications.

Biz, That is surprising! But if BU can beat Salukis this weekend I look for 8k or more in peoria for drake. Why not 10k?

I think SIU has played well vs the Braves the past few seasons and I dread playing them more than any other Valley team.
Hoping we sneak out with a win - it would be HUGE!
Lose and we could be looking at a 5th place finish if we don't win both our 2 last games.

LB, SIU scares you more than Drake at this juncture?

No, and Yes. LOL

I think we can take Drake at home - payback and we didn't play well at all at their place. Senior night, where we usually play great.

And for the same reason, SIU will want payback vs the Braves and when I have watched the games in the past 3-4 seasons, both seem pretty evenly matched.

I haven't see the remaining schedule for Drake/SIU, but I would take Drake to edge out the Salukis in the final standings.
