Clutch time

Mentioned in a earlier post that we have to start making free throws better. We sure did tonight or else this game would be a loss. Clutch free throws with the game on the line. Davis had ice in his veins shooting those four free throws 5-0. Go Braves.

I thought this even last year, but Davis seems to have an ability to rarely get sped up and do something stupid. He always takes his time while still being quick enough. He may not be the fastest guy, thought he seems more athletic this year with his drives to the rim, but he always seems calm. I trust him in big moments for sure. He looked like it was no big deal, I’m going to make these at the line yesterday when they showed close ups of his face.

He definitely took his time while others have seemed to be in a hurry. The mental aspect really is the difference maker, players need to be completely confident that they will make their shots.
