NIT Game Thread-
Bradley's opponent Wednesday is University of North Alabama. It is a ~10,000 student state university, located in Florence, Alabama, just across the Tennessee River from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and just a few miles from the Alabama-Tennessee border. It is Alabama's oldest public university, founded in 1830. Has anyone been there?

ChatGPT claims there is no available data on who is the all time three point leader in men’s Bradley Basketball history. Grok knows it was Daniel Ruffin.

Glad the Braves won moving on to the next round!
That was way closer than it should have been....
Please practice FT shooting before the next game....
Timo was a nice surprise..

What happened with that review on the goal tending call? They called it and gave Bradley 2 points, then gave N. Alabama the ball and kept playing. A few minutes went by and at the next timeout they reversed it? How can they do that after the fact? Not that it ended but mattering but I am still confused.

Grok is wrong, too. The all-time career leader in career 3-point baskets was Jeremy Crouch with 262.
The list is on page 17 of this Bradley Record Book - https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/...024-25_MBB_Record_Book_-_Updated_12_04_24.pdf

However, Duke's two threes tonight give him 264 for his Bradley career. He is now the all-time career leader.
Duke actually has a total NCAA D1 career total of 320 if you add the 56 threes he had as a freshman at Troy University in 2021-22.

Different teams have different customs. The Illinois football team is not out during the anthem.

they did the anthem more than 5 minutes earlier than usual when lots of teams are still in the lockerroom,
Must have been an agreement with the NIT so the TV coverage could start on time.

That 2nd half was tough to watch.
Those 3-pointers were great looks but in and out. Tough breaks and went cold.

As with this team, they just find a way to win.
The ONLY game where we had a lead halfway thru the 2nd half and didn't hold on was vs Belmont during that 3-game skid and there were a lot of lead changes in that one and BU never had a comfy lead.

JaQuan has gone absolutely cold at the FT line - he had made 32 straight at one point. Then after the streak was broken, seems he's made 50% of his FTs. It's all mental.

Timo looks like he has a knack for getting to the basket and getting open - lot of upside that we saw tonight, though he missed a few that attributed to the Braves' near collapse in the 2nd half.

Atlason HAS to turn things around - he was a liability yet again tonight. Burch struggled too, but he's not accustomed to getting that many minutes. We'll see a big incline in his game next season if he comes back.

G Mason is up next and they are good enough to win it all. I really didn't want to play them this early. We best bring our A game on Sat.
We have played very well on the road for the most part all season.

Did anyone else find this very amusing....according to Dave Eminian the North Alabama players on the bench were referring to Bully as "the football player "....:-o
