Drake took the lead at 8-7 early in the game and never trailed after that.

another SEC team goes down...
Drake should have never been an 11 seed
Stirtz 21 pts
In the three games Bradley played Drake we held Stirtz well below his average.

Drake wins by 10 points despite missing 12 FT. Could have easily have been close to a 20 point win if they hit their usual percentage.

I hate Drake during the regular season but I am rooting for them. Good for the MVC if they can keep going.

That was a great win for Drake and the Valley. If they would have shot their FT's tonight as good as they did in St Louis they would have won by 20.
Always cheer for all MVC and B10 teams even ohio state and isu red

Great win for Drake AND the MVC! Thought they were going to blow it at the free throw line. Loved the Drake fans chanting SEC OVER RATED at the end.

Impressive.
Really surprising their D was able to neutralize the superior athletes and size so effectively basically the entire game.
Drake was the better team than Bradley this year, as they were over Mizzou, and other good teams as well.

Drake was by far the better team, even with the missed FTs. The eye test alone told me Drake and McNeese St were better than their opponents. The scam of circular NET quadrant wins, pre-season rankings, unfair scheduling etc becomes even more obvious.

Drake's W makes the Missouri Valley Proud! There last loss was to Bradley! I'm thinking on one hand, Ben McCullom will take his entire team to Iowa next year. Surely, that would open up Bradley's chances to win Arch Madness. However, if by chance he would rather stay at Drake, it would be fun to have a top 25 Ranked team play at Carver Arena!

2 quick points: Next year Bradley can Rebuild Fast! Like so many teams who now rebuild quickly with the portal, there should be no reason we can't compete for an Arch Championship! 2nd: We don't have a football team. We can put all our resources into our Basketball Team!!!! If we're smart as well as lucky, next year could be THE year!!!!!

I told my mizzou fan in laws in STL to watch out, cause Drake gonna Drake. They don't really pass the eye test, but always seem to be the better team on the floor. Well coached team with terrific defense intensity and togetherness.

Yeah. If you can keep a team together for four years you can beat a lot of good teams. I wonder if Iowa is going to steal the coach?

Ever since Drake defeated Missouri - ESPN has been showing videos and pictures of Bennett Stirtz as their new College Basketball "poster child". As one ESPN analyst / announcer stated - Stirtz is more dangerous when he "does not have the ball".- Stirtz is out there on the court directing his team - always looking for that open man - always thinking - 2 steps ahead of his opponent - finding passing lanes that no saw. Reminds me a bit of Larry Bird - a extremely talented white basketball player. GO BULLDOGS !!!

Does anyone agree with this part of the statement? I've seen enough of Drake's games to feel pretty confident in saying that Stirtz's value is when he does have the ball, which is most of the time on offense. If teams can keep the ball out of his hands, it negates most of what he does best, shooting and passing.

Agree with you Coach. ESPN analyst has clearly not watched Drake play.

The ESPN Analyst / NCAA TV Announcer that made this statement is Kenny Smith right after the Drake game concluded. Give Kenny a call. :)
