Offers for 2026 and beyond

This past season UNI lost four top players to the portal, including their two top scorers (Heise, Born, Wolf, Henry) plus lost two other starters (Bond, Taylor) to injury and still won 20 games and battled Bradley for 2nd place in the Valley.
In 15 of the last 16 years he’d be COY.
What does that mean?
You don't think Darian DeVries deserved the award in 2021, Wardle deserved COY in 2023, Josh Schertz deserved it in 2024, and McCollum in 2025? Are you saying Jacobson should have won the award those years despite not winning anything? Or that he would have won it those years with this year's 20-13 record, a 3rd place finish, and a quick exit from the tournament with an embarrassing loss to the #11 seed?

Yet many, including Bradley fans, still think of Jacobson as the best coach in the league. Phooey, I say.
No need for that kind of choice language here Phi! U need to tone it down right quick!
;)

On a "side" note, I think Jacobsen has done a great job, but doesn't particularly get the most out of his players (it seems) and they usually underperform in the non-conf. season (and sometimes early in Valley play).

I'll take Wardle any day over Jaco.

I'm not a big stat person, but it seemed like NIU has played a tougher preseason schedule than BU. NIU seems to want to schedule up at the expense of their won/lose records in order to prepare for the league.

I will admit I don't know SOS for league teams this year.

Do you mean UNI? Because I don't recall NIU's schedule seeming tougher than BU. However, if you mean UNI, they still have finished behind us in conference standings a fair amount recently, which is more relevant to the conversation.

Jerrin Samuel commits to Furman- not even going to take his other 3 visits he’d scheduled

Furman is a little over 100 miles from his home in Winder, Ga; about a 2 hour drive. None of his other 4 finalists are nearly as close (Rice, Liberty, Tulane).

yeah- musta wanted to stay close to home, and not sure Bradley was still pursuing him, but acording to reports
he was really blowing up and getting a lot of offers over the summer including Belmont, Evansville, UIC, SIU, Murray State, Liberty..

Bradley just offered Mason Blazer -

he is a 6-6 juco wing from Florida Southwest College. (same school that Terry Roberts came from and former BU recruit Bryant Selebangue,
as well as Drake's DJ Wilkins, Anthony Murphy, Tremell Murphy, and ShanQuan Hemphill)

As a juco freshman he averaged 16.1 ppg, 35% on 3-pointers, 4.3 rpg, hits 80% on FT's
Harrisburg, PA native was a high scorer in high school.

Meanwhile....I trimmed the few who have committed elsewhere, but these are the offers we know of,
altho a couple on this list are very similar small PG's like Wilks, so Bradley may have dropped off.
Then at least two of the 2027 guys are getting some very high offers (Big10, Big East, Big 12, SEC), so.....
If anyone knows of any other offers I missed, lmk.

Mason Fuentes (was teammate of Gustavo Guimaraes in Florida)
Mason Lockett IV
Kingston Whitty
Ryan Moesch
Miles Flemons
Dane Caldwell
Kahuranaki Treacher
Mason Blazer
Lyris Robinson (2027) - LINK
Cooper Zachary (2027)
Quinton Kitt (2027)
Johnny Lackaff (2027)
Deuce McDuffie (2027)

Another East Coaster (New Yorker at a prep school in Boston) who prefers to stay on the East Coast.
It doesn't seem all the offers to East Coast kids has payed off.

Way back in 2023, Bradley offered Normal Community High School’s Braylon Roman, a Class of 2024, 6-4 point guard.
Roman then went to Northwest Florida State College, where he is now getting renewed recruiting attention as a 2026 juco, having averaged nearly 10ppg & 3.2 apg last yr as a freshman there at FSWC.
He did hold a Bradley offer but not sure he’s still on Bradley’s radar, but time will tell.

ok- we'll tentatively add him to the list of offers:

Mason Fuentes (was teammate of Gustavo Guimaraes in Florida)
Kingston Whitty
Dane Caldwell
Kahuranaki Treacher
Braylon Roman
Lyris Robinson (2027) - LINK
Cooper Zachary (2027)
Quinton Kitt (2027)- now holds offers from Illinois DePaul and Iowa
Johnny Lackaff (2027)
Deuce McDuffie (2027)
