Thank you.I have this article written by RickTelander. I watched some of this game from the TV mobile parked next to Robertson. Couldn’t get into that game.
 
I lived about 2 blocks from Bradley 1957 thru 1965 so those are the years I was closest to BU basketball. Am an ardent fan of Bradley in those years. Hope there are some others out there with similar interests. Warmups with Sweet Georgia Brown, Chet, Lavern, Tim the Rim, Alphra, Bobby Joe, Alex and Tom, Wichita Drake Cincinnati-just great memories from those years.
 
I can remember the era when the MVC was the premier conference in America. Had Witchita St., Cincinnati, Memphis St, Louisville, Drake. Sure there are others I have left out. What great memories of the old Field House.

We lived on Russell St during this time between Orange and Garfield. Franklin Elementary. Great BU memories for sure.
 
My family watched the 1964 NIT championship game on TV and BU winning it by blasting New Mexico had me hooked on BU men's hoops. I turned ten y/o about the time of that tournament, March 1964. Dad took us to the BU campus where the team was welcomed back. I can still remember Levern Tart hoisting the trophy over his head. It's no fluke that my user name reflects this championship and how rooting for the Braves started then. The following season, 1964-65, was my first full season following BU men's hoops. Then, came a center named Joe Allen and the rest is history. Wherever life has taken me, I've been a BU fan. I've been a fan for 60+ years, through think and thin.

That NIT game was probably one of BU’s best ever.

Sorry, Rick Telander had another article about his memories of BU basketball but this was a great article about the glory days of BU basketball.
