Baseball 2026

A rough evening for Bradley pitchers at Indiana University in the first mid-week game of the season: 14 earned runs, run-ruled 15-3 in seven innings. Most of it in one huge inning for the Hoosiers.
Still very early, with all teams finding their footing, sorting out their lineups, trying lots of pitchers in the midweek game.
One bright spot: Freshman Cal Leighton, subbed in at catcher for the Braves, got two hits.
Sohrab Rezaei got his first start at 2B, on base twice.
Outfielders Ashton Horchem and AJ Garcia were on twice in the short game as well.

Bradley Baseball wins a series on the road, taking two out of three at University of Tennessee at Martin.

Bradley is 3-7. UT-Martin is 4-7.

Tuesday the Braves play SIUE (5-7) at Edwardsville, 3 p.m. CT.

Then the Braves play on the weekend at Saint Louis University (4-8).

Conference play begins March 20 at Indiana State in Terre Haute.

Still a distance from being a good baseball team. At this point in last year's season, the Braves were 2-8.

The Braves head to St. Louis with their third straight win. (The Baseball Braves, that is.)

Strong starting pitching by graduate transfer Joey Cirelli led the Braves (4-7) to their third road win in a row, 8-7, over Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (5-8).

The Braves play three on the weekend at Saint Louis University (4-9). Then two at Lindenwood University (5-7). Then four at East Tennessee State University (9-3).

Conference play begins March 20 at Indiana State University in Terre Haute.

First home games at Dozer Park are March 27-29 against last year's MVC champion, Murray State University.

I wanted to try to watch the baseball Braves here in St. Louis, but it's no going to work out because the game times all overlap the Bradley basketball times. But it is so nice to see them be competitive.

Bradley is 4-10, and Saint Louis University is 7-9.

The Braves play two at Lindenwood University (6-9) in St. Charles, Missouri, on Tuesday at 3 p.m. CT and Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Then four at East Tennessee State University (9-3), with games on Friday, Saturday (doubleheader), and Sunday.

Conference play begins March 20 at Indiana State University (7-8).

First home games at Dozer Park are March 27-29 against last year's MVC champion, Murray State University (10-6).

Braves (4-12) play four on the road at East Tennessee State University (10-5), with games Friday at 2 p.m. CT, Saturday doubleheader at 11 a.m. CT, and Sunday at 11 a.m. CT. No video but live stats only.

Two close losses at Lindenwood in midweek games.

First home games at Dozer Park are March 27-29 against last year's MVC champion, Murray State (11-6). The only other MVC team with a winning record in non-conference play is Illinois State (10-7).

The Braves fall to 4-16. ETSU is 14-5.

The team gets a few days to regroup, and then conference play begins Friday at Indiana State (7-11).

MVC conference games start Friday for the baseball Braves at Indiana State. The team is certainly hurting, losing nine straight. It's been a difficult start for the new coaching staff and the (mostly) new roster. Here's hoping they can begin to right the ship.

This weekend's games will be streamed by ESPN Plus.

Bradley University (4-16) at Indiana State University (8-12):

Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT.

Saturday at 1:00 p.m. CT.

Sunday at 12:00 p.m. CT.

Then, on Tuesday, it's a midweek game at Western Illinois (4-16).

The home opening set is next weekend at Dozer against Murray State (13-8), Friday-Sunday, March 27-29.
