His percentage was good but he did not take as many shots as I would have liked in order to say he is a great 3 point shot maker. The number 1 thing he could improve on a lot is stopping in the lane just past the free throw line and making that mid jump shot. He too many times went in too far trying to make a layup and came away with nothing. He also took a beating by doing that and spent a lot of time laying on the floor.

Jaquan is just a sophomore and this was his first year as a starter. He was the best all around player in the MVC, the defensive POY and should have been POY. He was #2 in scoring, #1 in steals, top ten in 3-point FG% in the MVC and top 5 in assists, assist/to ratio, and FT percentage in the MVC. Without Jaquan, Bradley might have been a .500 team this season. That's not enough? :)

Agree but there are areas for him to improve at to be better. He definitely should have been POY.

I don't know if Jaquan will stay at Bradley. If he doesn't, Bradley is in for a bigger rebuild than any of us wanted. What Jaquan was best at, IMO, was not just his own numbers, but the fact he, along with Alex, made everyone else on the floor better by forcing teams to guard the perimeter as well as inside and by drawing double-teams. He is the type of point guard, like Darrell Brown, and Duke Deen, that can help make an average team into a contender. And, Jaquan showed tremendous improvement between his freshman year and this year (Captain/MVP of the MVC Most Improved Team), so maybe we can expect further improvement into next season, too.
