2026 and beyond recruits

It has never been characterized as "chronic" by anyone official that I have seen. The team has only reported it as "an undisclosed injury".
But, this article from December, after Evansville's first MVC game said-
"Turnbull was held out of the game with what is being called a knee injury."

And the beat writer for the Evansville Courier & Press wrote this in late February-
"Connor Turnbull, last year's MVC Defensive Player of the Year, has only played twice since Jan. 4 with a nagging knee issue"

Maybe with an extended rest period, he might be able to return in good health. But any team that considers signing him would want to know more about his knee issue.

A couple more 2026 high school point guards-
2026- Korbyn Hammel- 6'3" point guard at Kokomo HS in Indiana.

2026- Doron "Ron" Harris- 6' point guard at Lawrence Central HS in Indianapolis.

One the players Bradley has followed but not offered is Cooper Knowles. He remains uncommitted with earlier reported offers from Western Illinois, South Dakota State, Missouri State, Green Bay, Le Moyne, and Truman State.
This week, he received an offer from Cal State-Fullerton- www.x.com/RL_Hoops/status/2046994526728802706
And today it was reported that he was on a visit to Illinois State- www.x.com/G_SullivanMPA/status/2046997774290366754
Cooper Knowles visited Bradley last fall, and coaches have continued to follow him, but have not offered. In the last week, he has gotten D1 offers from Illinois State, Central Michigan, Southern Indiana, Cal Baptist, and Cal State Fullerton, in addition to several earlier offers listed here- LINK
He will be visiting Belmont tomorrow.

Will be interesting to see if new Belmont coach Evan Bradds likes to redshirt freshmen, especially big men, like Casey Alexander did. I like Cooper Knowles' skills as a big man, but he's a bit thin, and not as much of an outside shooter as Eoin Dillon. Last year's roster has 5 players who had red-shirted their first season under Alexander- Eoin Dillon, Drew Scharnowski, Sam Orme, Jabez Jenkins, and Cooper Haynes,

I think BU has committed all their resources & is completely out of NIL funds and done recruiting
I really wish we had another combo guard that can handle the ball and provide defensive pressure...an injury to Georgi or Richardson and we are back in a pickle, and that's IF Richardson is ready to handle point guard duties for 25 min a game or so...I guess treyvon could do it but that takes away from his catch and shoot game I feel

IDK....just feel like we are a player short again in a key spot.

Kyle Grill and Race can fill that if the need arises

Bradley needs to find that money so they can bring in another recruit. They have everyone in the lower bowl paying maintenance fees so they need to figure out a way to raise more funds in order to be able to get top notch recruits and fill their roster spots.

I hope ur right, but 1 of them is not a pg and has never played 1 minute of college basketball and im not sure the other has played much as the primary ball handler either.
Not to mention this pulls them out of the position they play best

Welcome to College Hoops 2026. If this is true, we are out of money, it’s sad and pathetic. This team is severely lacking interior scoring and defense. No one on this roster can guard Chase Walker. 2 injuries and we are done for. I sure hope we aren’t done but I trust Wardle. Leaving 3 scholarships open is pure insanity IMO.

we don't know if Bradley is done recruiting -
we signed three guys last year after everyone thought we were done (Seastrunk, Guimaraes, Toussaint all signed
well into May & beyond)

I think we could use another inside guy as well, specifically a Center type body. That being said, I think this year's team has potentially more inside scoring than last year's team. Meta wasn't a great offensive threat, and beyond him we had virtually nothing inside...Cory didn't score much down low, and neither did AJ. Kai Yu's best game came when he hit 3's.

Between Alarie, Thornbrue, ibukunoluwa, and Gustavo I think they potentially have more inside scoring ability than last year. Might be tough to duplicate what Meta brought to the table defensively. Even Williams can provide some inside scoring I feel.

I am not worried about our inside players because they should score and rebound better then last seasons team. The thing that concerns me most is 3 point shooting. To me 3 point shooting is the difference between winning championships in this day and age.
