I would not put much stock in Meta because he has more trouble against smaller centers. He cannot guard well on the perimeter and has a hard time when he is forced outside and has to get back to defend inside and rebound. We play better with more versatile players. He slows our offense down.
I obviously agree. I have said since he has been here, Meta is only good in limited situations. Our offense and defense was better with him off the floor. He's not strong with the basketball, nor does he rebound well for his size, and his offensive skillset is very limited. He is best against slow, undersized back to the basket players.
