1st round NIT- Final score: Dayton 80 Bradley 66

JJ did not look like himself during the last few games. I suspect he had some kind of nagging undisclosed injury. He just didn't look like Bully. And when your offense is predicated on a strong point guard and he's off you get last night. JJ needs to stay as he'll be the big fish in a small pond not a small fish swimming with sharks. But it's hard to turn down life changing money. Wish we had 1 more year of both Alex and AJ, 2 seniors who got better throughout the season to the point that they were our best 2 players. In his comments after the game it sounded like Brian was glad the season was over. Even though it was another 20 win season and we finished 2nd in the Valley there were just too many times I found myself shaking my head and saying out loud "What are we doing?". And that is just not about the players but our head coach. I know subbing in is the in thing in college basketball but I thought Brian took it to the extreme this season. Will be interesting to see what happens over the next few months.
