How long will it take for us to get a good 2-3 Zone Offense going? As we all saw in the past couple games, we can't really do much when the D is playing a 2-3 zone, especially when our shot isn't falling.
I just don't think we could do that for more than a few minutes, as neither one of these guys is good for more than 15-20 mins/game (generally).
I still don't see how playing AT for a couple minutes each half is going to hurt anything ? SS was gassed a couple times and it showed!
I would like to see BU play a line-up that includes both SS and DC. Both of our big guys have a pretty decent touch from 12 -15 feet. Put one guy at the high post (SS) and the other on the block down low. Feed Sam at the high post. one option is to look low to DC, ...another option is to look for the guards on the wings...third option is shoot the ball. Have the two big guys rotate from high to low post and get them the ball. (I like SS at the high post because I think he is a better passer.) It seems like good things happen when we get the ball inside rather than run our weave for 30 seconds and then throw up a prayer. For any of you coaches out there, Does this make any sense?
Agree. Run a basic 1-3-1 offense, have a big at the free throw line, another working the post and the wings cutting to the corner or on the weak side. If nothing else, this may force a team to switch up defenses to something we can better handle.I would like to see BU play a line-up that includes both SS and DC.
