2 MVC games today

There are 2 MVC games today-
Bradley hosts Missouri State at 7:00 PM, and Loyola is playing now at Northern Iowa (3:00 PM start).
Loyola looks a bit more inspired, and is hanging in the game at UNI.
It is a low-scoring game, with both teams shooting poorly.
Loyola (0-5) leads UNI (2-3)- 26-24 early in the 2nd half- The game is on Comcast SportsNet, and on ESPN3 outside the Valley Network areas-

Tough draw for Loyola - gotta go to UNI but if they can upset the Panthers and
.. if BU can pick up a win vs. Missouri State, can you believe that Bradley will pull into a TIE for 6th place in the Valley and only ONE game behind ISU who sits in 5th..

halfway there..
loyola beat UNI 51-41 in a chippy game with a lot of sloppy play and bad shooting.
UNI loses their 4th in the last 5 and Ben Jacobson was not a happy camper...
the handshake line was very cold...

UNI has no depth..nothing off the bench-- their bench was 1-7 & just 2 pts..
Loyola shuffled their lineup and got 26 points off the bench



BTW- Winthrop beat Liberty 74-58, and Jimmy Gavin wins the battle of the ex-BU Braves over Anthony Fields..
