2007-2008 College Basketball Preview

The new Blue Ribbon College Basketball yearbook (Preview) for 2007-2008 is out, and I have my copy ordered.
I will post more when I get time, but here are some things........

Their preseason All American team is:
Drew Neitzel (Michigan State)
Chris Lofton (Tennessee)
Roy Hibbert (Georgetown)
Tyler Hansbrough (North Carolina)
Dominic James (Marquette)

The first college basketball preseason yearbook is out on newsstands.
Lindy's College Basketball preview picks the MVC this way--

1. Southern Illinois
2. Missouri St.
3. Illinois St.
4. Creighton
5. Bradley
6. Indiana St.
7. Wichita St.
8. Northern Iowa
9. Drake
10. Evansville

Historically, Lindy's has never done a lot of research, probably because they try to get their magazine out on newsstands first. They usually have players on rosters who never enrolled, and ignore some recruits and changes that happened late. But at least it's a sign we are getting close to basketball season. Is Bradley really just a 5th place team? The Wichita State fans think they are rated a bit too low, too.
 
Holy cow! Maybe these people know something we don't know, but Missouri State 2nd! and Illinois State 3rd! And Indiana State ahead of Wichita and UNI! That's ludicrious.

Maybe they think Ahearn was granted a 5th season with MSU, or that Lorenzo Gordon is back with ISU for his last season!. Or maybe David Moss has returned to Indiana State?

Does anyone have a copy? What logic did they use for the ISU's being picked so high?
 
smitty, as always, I have my copy ordered and should have it by Monday, and will give BradleyFans viewers a report, and I also have a Blue Ribbon Yearbook coming as well.

I have yet to see one on the newsstands.

No logic at all. I think that's a travesty and will only serve as fodder for others to rip ISU when they finish 7th. I think it's a joke.
 
I do think ISU will surprise people .. but if both ISUs finish above Wichita and UNI, i will be completely shocked
 
I could they possibly say any of those things... Oh well, I'm starting to learn as an MVC fan you just kind of have to ignore national media.

Maybe someone could say ISU (red) is more of a known quantity? ;)
