2008-2009 Bradley Media Guide complete and online

the quote on the 2nd page of which we are talking about says "This is major college at its best" no "it's".;) I agree with you that if it was "it's" then it would make sense but "its" does in fact make sense and is grammatically correct.:D What should Izzo have said "This is major college at it best" ??

You are right. I was going by BradleyBrave's quotation from the book, not the actual book. My bad. I consulted the book and the quotation is correct.

haha no..BradleyBrave was correct and in essence you were too you were just a little late. It has been changed but before it did say "it's" so it didnt make sense..I was trying to display my sarcasm by the smileys and trying to act like it never happened because it didn't make sense. The end of my earlier post was the only serious thing where I said it has been changed so lets just act like that error never occurred. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the clarification. Grammar, I believe, does matter. Glad to know that others here feel the same.

Does anyone know where I can find a link to the 2007-08 media guide? I couldn't find one on Bradley's website.

I don't know if the 2007-2008 media guide ever made it online.
Here is a thread from November, 2007 where people discuss getting their copies in the mail, but that it's not online yet. If anyone knows, post the info here. Thanks.

Media Guide to "Friends"

Media Guide to "Friends"

First off, thank you for the positive comments regarding the the 2008-09 Bradley Basketball Media Guide.

For those "Friend" level members of the Braves Club, this is the first year the men's basketball media guide is a benefit at this level, which is why you have not received one in previous years. The book is due back from the printer by Oct. 27 at the latest. I would expect copies to go out in the mail shortly thereafter.

For those that are not Braves Club members, a limited number will be available for purchase at the Shea Stadium ticket office for $10 each.

What are the chances we might get something on Bradley practice from the PJ Star on Friday or Saturday? You would think it is a lock but with the PJ Star you never know.

Mexico, here's a "practice preview," so to speak, from Dave Reynolds. You'll see he notes that Bradley's practices are closed to the public. That obviously includes DR, as well.

One of the endnotes has an explanation about the time switch for JL's radio show, which has been discussed elsewhere on here:

The switch was made because the Braves have a late-afternoon/early-evening practice slot and Les wouldn't have been able to get to the station for the show. "We left it in their hands whether they wanted to tape delay it or try this," Les said. "From our standpoint, we probably will get more exposure in the morning."
