2015 Names to Remember

2015 has a pretty solid crop of players in Central Illinois. Here is a few that I strongly feel will end up D1 players.

6'8 Christian Romine (Mahomet Seymour): still raw but extremely long, strong, and mobile big. Jumps well. Will be interesting to see what he is in as a senior. Very young turns 16 in the middle of August.

6'7 Obediah Church (Springfield High): extremely bouncy, active big, that is a good rebounder and shot blocker. Developing an offensive game.

6'4 Christian Williams (Decatur St. Teresa): long athletic slashing combo guard. When he figures out how to leave the light on all the time he has a chance to be scary good. I firmly believe he will have offers by end of this summer.

6'7 Dylan Miller (Hillsboro): Strong mobile big that is learning how to play against top level competition. Will be interesting to see him in 2 years as a senior as well.

Others that have stood out from Central Illinois that I have seen this spring:

Jake Rienhardt - 6'2 Bloomington Central Catholic
Demarco Washington- 6'2 Peoria Notre Dame
Bryan Heath- 6'4 Rockridge
Alex Peacock- 6'5 Normal Community
Tyler Seibring- 6'7 Normal Community
Gavin Block- 6'5 Lincoln
Jaylen Perry- 5'6 U-High

this is great, midstate -- thanks - and thanks for what you do to help & promote amateur ball here in Illinois..
I am anxious to follow & watch which kids develop and if any become D-I kids..

btw- are you familiar with Matt Kruse from Monticello (IL) HS?
What ever happened - as a freshman he was getting mentioned and even came to a few Bradley games-
then he fell off the charts and I think is going D-II (McKendree)

Tyler Seibring- 6'7 Normal Community

Normal Community's Tyler Seibring committed to Elon tonight. Elon is in the Colonial Athletic Association, and they are located in Elon, North Carolina. It seems like a great choice for Seibring, who is an improving 6'8" forward with a good outside shot. I believe he would have gotten more offers if he waited. There are no reports that Bradley ever had any contact with him, but he had offers from Ohio, Bucknell, North Dakota State, Air Force, Dartmouth, Brown, and Colgate.

just a followup on midstate's crop of Irish players that were Class of 2015 - they did pretty well - seven went DI!

6'8 Christian Romine committed to UTEP

6'7 Obediah Church committed to Missouri State

6'4 Christian Williams committed to Iowa

6'7 Dylan Miller committed to North Dakota State

Jake Rienhardt - committed to Lewis University
Demarco Washington- signed with ISU for football
Bryan Heath- signed with Michigan Tech
Alex Peacock- committed to Iowa Western
Tyler Seibring- committed to Elon

Scary thing is

Christian Romine now 6'10

Obediah Church now 6'8

Christian Williams now 6'6

Dylan Miller now 6'9

If Wardle was here before their senior year started, would have been extremely interesting to see which one of them if any would be in a BU uniform...
