Joliet West's Teyvion Kirk - a one time BU recruiting target
has announced he has narrowed his list to seven schools...and Bradley is not on the list
(Green Bay, UTEP, SIU, Denver, Brown, Duquesne, Drake)

As noted elsewhere, Teyvion Kirk, at one time a BU recruit, has committed to Drake. He should be a good player for them.

Add one more Class of 2019 recruiting target
Michael Moreno

Anyone up for news on our recruiting targets?

-2017 Marcus Santos-Silva who is at Vermont Academy where Ronnie Suggs was - holds a Bradley offer.
He was just ranked #2 in the state behind his teammate Christian David (who is ranked #1 statewide & who was also on our list as a 2017 recruit until he trimmed his list and we removed him a while ago)
Bad news for DePaul - Santos-Silva just trimmed his list and eliminated them..
BUT good news for BRADLEY - as he still has Bradley in his final list!

The first link has a video..Bradley hanging right in there with some big schools

There are reports from Tuesday night that our coaching staff was present at the National Prep Championships

Nate Laszewski just got ranked #3 in the northeast in Class of 2018- but I don't think he has Bradley on his list
Rodney Culver verballed to Ohio - not to be confused with former BU target 2018 Derek Culver, also a BU recruiting target, who just verballed to West Virginia

now there's talk that Chol Marial may never play college ball...
he might use the Thon Maker rule to claim he's really doing a 5th year of high school (when he's a senior) thus is NBA Draft eligible...

Also BU recruit Thomas Pupavac has been selected to the Australian U19 NATIONAL TEAM!
He is one of only 18 players nineteen years of age and under that has been invited and later the squad will be trimmed to 12
Tom Fullarton also makes the list...as does Froling, Glover and a couple others Bradley has seen...

our coaching staff is busy...several mentions of our staff on the road viewing Bailey Dee (2018) and Manuel Patterson (2017)

and one new name

Nana Akenten commits to Nebraska
Practically their whole starting five could be Chicago & Illinois kids - Roby, Watson, Morrow, Akenten...

Based on the recent level of talent that's been coming out of Illinois I'd say that doesn't speak volumes for the Nebraska program.

Bradley coaches will be at La Lumiere prep school in LaPorte, Indiana on Wednesday (9/21) to watch their loaded roster in an workout and open gym session that is being called La Lumiere Combine.
There will be over 40 schools represented there.
Here are some of the schools that will be present-

Csw3GbKUEAANYxH.jpg

At least one La Lumiere player has been on our list of 2017 recruits for the past year
...also, La Lumiere's head coach is the brother of a former Bradley basketball player....
This is quite a recruiting tool for a HIGH SCHOOL - running an NBA-style combine for their players to be seen by coaches from over 40 different D-I programs! I betcha if an IHSA school tried this they'd get hammered...
