once a Bradley recruit, Talen Horton-Tucker just visited Illinois and they are very optimistic they can land him and 5-Star Ayo Dosunmu
Reportedly Chin Coleman is the lead recruiter - but Chin just lost out on George Conditt, Zion Griffin and a couple other top targets and the Illini are still 0-fer in Class of 2018....he needs to land some of the top Chicago talent..
 
Another juco name-

2018 juco ShanQuan Hemphill- 6'6" wing forward currently a sophomore at Florida Southwestern State College, located in Ft. Myers, Florida. As a freshman there, he averaged 11.7 ppg and 5.3 rpg. Last season was the first season for FSW's men's basketball program since it was disbanded in 1997 when the school was known as Edison Community College. It was renamed Florida Southwestern State College in 2014.
They resumed their athletic program in 2015, and the 2016-17 season was the first for their basketball program. Despite being their first season, their men's basketball program had great success, tied for their conference title, went 26-7, and qualified for the state tournament last year.

5-Star Ayo Dosunmu is going to announce his choice - it's between Illini & Wake Forest - so seriously - this one ought to be in the bag!!


one other note- not sure if Bradley is recruiting him but...
Class of 2019 Chol Marial is now at IMG Academy in Florida - his fourth school in the past 3 years.

also 2019 Louis Bleechmore is at SCS along with Ari Boya - as is 2018 Deontay Compton

Bradley was in the FINAL 2 or 3 choices for numerous recent recruits who committed elsewhere (Freeman, Pearson, Mosley..)
and Coach Wardle seem to be saying he expects our two open scholarships to be filled this fall...
So I have to think we will be hearing some good news soon....
We still have 9-10 or more offers out as noted....but in the past our commits have often been players that were kept well in wraps and not known until they committed.....I think we will see soon.
 
not sure if our coaches were ever seriously recruiting him but Class of 2018 Luguentz Dort - who I know our staff has seen several times because he was Koch Bar's teammate at Arlington Country Day..
has verbaled to Arizona State.

Arizona State may finally be stabilizing - they have had 15 or so players transfer out of there the past couple years

He was one of the best 2 or 3 players at the Tournament of Champions 2 years ago. He is a big point guard (6'5", 220 lb) who could shoot from anywhere, passed well, and could get to the basket pretty easily and score.

btw saw a tweet that Bradley 2018 recruit Tavin Lovan has 22 pts in the first half of his debut game at Hargrave
Final was Hargrave 111 - Oak Hill 89 Trey McGowens had 19 in the 2nd half and 29 for the game

A new name that Bradley is following-
2019 juco Brandon Mahan- a 6'5" freshman shooting guard at Chipola Junior College in Florida. He played high school ball at Central Park Christian HS in Birmingham, Alabama. There is not much info available on him. Chipola's season starts in a little over a week.
 
Former Bradley recruit from Decatur St. Teresa HS, now a junior at Iowa, Christian Williams has left the team and will transfer.
