South Plains upsets #4 Salt Lake 79-78 - Isaiah Maurice (going to New mexico) had 22 pts/7 reb - Jordan Brangers did not play (injury)

Connors State upsets Coffeyville 90-85
...they play each other tomorrow to advance to the Final Four

no other Bradley targets that I know of still playing...but I wouldn't be surprised if some of our staff is there

Here are a couple new names Bradley is in touch with this past week-

2018 juco Chudier Bile- 6'6" forward originally from Denver South HS, and now a sophomore at Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colorado. He averaged 12.4 ppg and 5.9 rpg, and shot 55% overall and 36% from three. Otero JC won the Region IX NJCAA Tournament and advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament. Chudier Bile was named to the 2018 Region IX All-Tournament team.
They were eliminated in the first round, and ended their season with a 29-5 record.

2018 juco Karim Ezzeddine- 6'9", 220 pound forward from Northwest Florida State College. He is originally from Paris France, and attended high school at St. Joseph's Prep in Huntington, West Virginia.
Northwest Florida was 31-3 this season. They won the Region * Championship and advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament where they made it to the final 8 teams and eventually lost.
Karim Ezzedine averaged 7.8 ppg and 3.9 rpg.

2018 juco Rashawn Fredericks- 6'6" sophomore forward at Motlow State Community College in Lynchburg, Tennessee. He is originally from Saint Croix, Virgin Islands. He attended George D. Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Florida. And he has played for the U.S. Virgin Islands National Team.
Motlow was the champions of the NJCAA Region 7 Tournament, and advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament. They made it to the round of 16 before being eliminated by Vincennes, one of the favorites to win the NJCAA National Championship. They finished with a record of 23-8.
Rashawn Fredericks averaged 17.7 ppg and 10.3 rpg, and he shot 32.3% from three. He committed to North Texas State last fall, but reopened his recruiting shortly after committing.

2018
Richardson Maitre - injured and may reclassify as 2019 (at Indian Hills juco)..
Indian Hills' coach tweets that Bradley is involved still with Richardson Maitre..
he could be available for 2018 with 3 years to play because he redshirted this past season...
since he has not played in a year he might be a little of a gamble but he did perform well in 2016-17 as a juco freshman PG

a transfer?? 6-4 guard with 3 years left to play..originally from Brownsville TN, about 50 miles east of Memphis (prob knows Darrell Brown, Jr.)

"EKU transfer Dedric Boyd has heard from Liberty, Colorado State, Marshall,
Louisiana Tech, Nevada, Tulsa, Bradley, Wofford and Evansville."

https://twitter.com/EvanDaniels/status/979088227171749888

he was one of their best players - 13.2 ppg, 83% FT shooter, 3.3 rpg, 2 apg
not real high shooting pcts

Dedric Boyd is not a grad transfer. He just finished his freshman year at Eastern Kentucky-
https://www.ekusports.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6717

He was their 2nd leading scorer with 13.2 ppg, but he shot only 28% from three-
http://ekusports.com/documents/2018/2/24//Season_Stats.pdf?id=9990

When he was in high school in Brownsville, Tennessee, he played for Team Thad AAU program (based in Memphis), and Bradley has previously recruited a number of kids from that program, and they know the coaches pretty well. Maybe that connection is why they are involved with Dedric Boyd.

I have moved the 2019 & beyond recruiting targets here - LINK

and the 2018 targets will stay in this thread...
the ones at the bottom of the list have had very few recent mentions of Bradley involved, but we should be hearing a lot more soon as the signing period nears....

Tre Harvey - plays with Donavan Moore at WBHS in Michigan
Emmanuel Bandoumel - Canadian SG, just OFFERED

Koreem Ozier - teammate of Aristide Boya at SCS - from Wisconsin, but we have not offered - LINK
Kaleb Thornton - Bolingbrook point guard - had a great run in IHSA Finals

Courvoisier McCauley - 6-4 Indianapolis SG and prolific scorer averaging 27.2 ppg as a junior and 31.1 ppg this season- but plans a year at prep school so will become a 2018 recruit - LINK

Here is one more new name that Bradley has been in communication with-

Juco Nathanael Jack- He is a 6'4" freshman at Eastern Florida State College (former known as formerly Brevard Community College) a Division I NJCAA junior college located in Brevard County, Florida. He is originally from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
http://www.efsctitans.com/sports/mbkb/2017-18/bios/jack_nathanael_4iw0

He is currently a freshman. It is not confirmed, but he may be a qualifier, which would mean he could have 3 years of eligibility left if he transfers this year. He averaged 10.7 ppg and shot 40.4% from three as a freshman for EFSC, who finished their season 30-5 this year.

Bradley also mentioned interested in Albany transfer David Nichols - avg 15 ppg/3 apg
https://twitter.com/WndyCtyBsktball/status/981296539611140096

David Nichols is a grad-transfer who was originally from Chicago Mt. Carmel HS-
http://www.ualbanysports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=15800&ATCLID=210232195

He only had a few lower D1 offers out of high school, and neither Bradley nor Green Bay appear to have been among them

...A mention that we are involved with Illini transfer Te'jon Lucas
https://twitter.com/coreyevans_10/status/981226456876441601

I have heard & read several comments from people saying Bradley should not go after Lucas or people saying they don't want him...
I am puzzled by those comments...
I know Lucas is not a big time scorer - but his shooting pct was 48% (49% in league play) the highest by far of any guard they had!
Also he averages 3.3 assists per game in just over 20 mpg, again the highest by far of anyone on their team for assists per 40 minutes...and more than TWICE as many assists with BETTER shooting percentages than Mr. Basketball Mark Smith gave the Illini.

His Assist to Turnover Ratio (94/56) was the best on their entire team!
He was 2nd on the team in steals...

Hey - our success with transfers & 2-year guys has been abysmal....
The last few transfers & 2-year players (Kendahl Anerson, Chris Blake, Omari Grier, Anthony Fields, Mike Shaw, Alex Foster, Jojo McGlaston, Luqman Lundy) have all been less than earth-shattering...
BUT-- I think if Te'Jon Lucas is interested in playing for Brian Wardle I would love to have him....I think he differs in that he's proven that he has succeeded at the Big Ten level and can contribute here..

I can't agree more, and you didn't even discuss his defense. He isn't much of a 3 pt shooter, but he gets to the rim well for his size.

I think we have a better than average shot at him cuz the kid is from Milwaukee and Coach Wardle had been recruiting Te'Jon since he was a sophomore in high school

Another name Bradley has been recruiting-

2018 juco Melkisedek Moreaux- 6'7" wing forward originally from Hamburg, Germany. He played high school basketball in Preston, England. He is currently a sophomore at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska. He committed to Arkansas-Little Rock last fall and signed a NLI, but decommitted and was granted his release following their recent coaching change.
As a freshman at NECC in 2016-17 he averaged 9.1 ppg and 7.3 rpg. This past year as a sophomore, he averaged 14.2 ppg and 10.2 rpg, and he is considered an outstanding defensive player.

...
Jordan Brangers - star juco player at South Plains- ..Brangers will test the NBA Draft without an agent....
Jordan Brangers is working out and planning on testing the NBA Draft but check who he is working out with...
..this suggests pretty strongly that if he decides to stay in college, he will probably commit to Penny Hardaway & Memphis!
