One more new name that Bradley has been in contact with for those keeping track.

2020 Will Berg- 6'9" skilled forward from Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa.
A year ago, he was ranked the #5 player in Iowa for the class of 2020.
https://www.desmoinesregister.com/s...vier-foster-bowen-born-even-brauns/515215002/

He has a couple mid-major offers, and high-majors like Iowa, and Iowa State are following him.

BU recruit Michael Moreno just misses winning the Kentucky Mr. Basketball title...
but there is a little controversy....and more than a few angry comments via Twitter.
Moreno was one of the runner-ups to Dontaie Allen - a kid who is committed to University of Kentucky -
but Dontaie Allen played in only 13 games and never played a single minute beyond December 22

Candidates are nominated by coaches & media, then the top 18 candidates are voted on by each high school coach, approved media member plus each former winner also gets a vote.
..but Allen got enough votes from those who submitted ballots to win despite Moreno, (Louisville signee) David Johnson and (Xavier signee) Kyky Tandy being the favorites going into the process.

The criteria is stated as:
"All that’s asked of media, coaches and former winners who vote
is to pick the players they feel deserves Mr. and Miss Basketball
based on whatever criteria they wish to consider."

Since a lot of the voters either went to or grew up fans of UK or U of L,
then it is obvious some kid who may have signed there get an advantage.

some of the rips were from fans but some came from the voting media

I can confirm that Danya Kingsby (see link in post above) has been one touch with our coaches. ;)
He is originally from Milwaukee, and our coaches are familiar with him since high school. He also played at Arlington Country Day prep school in Orlando, then junior college, before spending this season at LSU.

https://athletics.csi.edu/roster.aspx?rp_id=1182

If kingsby comes I’d be very happy too. His tape is promising. Great athlete who knows how to score. That’s the type of mercenary recruit I believe teams should seek out on the transfer/juco market. Develop a defense and offensive system through 4 year recruits and add bucket getters that will be around for short periods. He and fisher would both be solid recruits, but if I had my druthers I’d prefer kingsby

You are right. Almost every team in the MVC had at least one transfer from another school that was or will be a key player for them
Bradley is the only school that does not-
Loyola- POY Marques Townes, and Clayton Custer last years POY
Drake- Brady Ellingson the top 3-point shooter in the league, and Nick Norton, a key player and the top assist guy until he got hurt
SIU- Marcus Bartley
Missouri State- their best player and 1st team All MVC Tulio Da Silva
Illinois State- Milik Yarbrough, their best player and All MVC and they have 4 more transfers sitting out who will be eligible next season (Boyd, Hillman, Fisher, Donnelly)
Northern Iowa- Berhow, McDonnell
Valparaiso- Bakari Evelyn, Ryan Fazekas, Deion Lavender, and 2 others sitting out this season- Nick Robinson and Eron Gordon
Indiana State- Allante Holsten, Cooper Neese, Christian Williams
Evansville- Shea Feehan, Sam Cunliffe

Ryland Holt commits to Minnesota State
...he reportedly did have at least three DI offers - LINK LINK LINK

anyone interested - Ryland Holt - who Bradley watched a few times - is playing right now on NBCSports Chicago &
WGN in the Chicago area - in the 2A semit from Bradley's home floor at Carver

Fisher might be able to graduate and if so would be eligible as a grad-transfer and would be immediately eligible. If he doesn't graduate, he'd have to sit out if he transfers anywhere in Division I.
I do not think Kingsby will graduate this year, so if he transfers from LSU, he would have to sit out a year.

One of Bradley's 2018 recruits, Emmanuel Bandoumel is quietly putting together a very good FRESHMEN year at Hill College (juco)
Hill plays one of the toughest schedules in one of the toughest conferences...
Bandoumel is averaging 14 ppg, 53% shooting overall, 40% on 3-pt shooting, 4 rebs, 2 asst, 1.4 steals and is known as an excellent defender.
He would have been a 2020 recruit but he chose to come out of juco early as a qualifier - & committed to SMU

Here's the list updated a bit - some names being removed if they've committed elsewhere
