Ville had surgery in April to fix a problem in his right foot.

He originally injured the foot in the preseason in early October, 2021 and was put in a walking boot for several weeks-

He missed the first couple scheduled games, but then returned and played in the Missouri S&T game on Nov. 16. He played in a total of 28 of the 31 games, starting 12 of them, but apparently the injury continued to bother Ville. So he underwent surgery on the right foot in early April. I think the boot he's wearing now is just part of the recovery process from the surgery.

The black ones look sharp. Any chance this means the black alternative could make a comeback this year? I’d love to see either black or gray alternates and one of those colors incorporated back into the home and road uniforms to spice them up a little.

I imagine the sweet 16 uniforms from last year should come back out for Jim Les’s return.

I have always been a proponent of alternate-color uniforms, so I hope they come back.
I also thought the throw backs last year were better looking than the regular uniforms! And I like your idea of bringing them back for the Nov. 19 game when the 2005-06 team is honored.

I don't think that the black practice uniform is any indication that there will be black alternate uniforms this year. Coaches are given a lot of latitude when it comes to practice gear (as long as it's Under Armour). I like the 3rd uniforms too, but at the end of the day it always comes down to budget. I love the idea of wearing the throwbacks on the night that the 2005-2006 team is honored. I suspect that the only catch would be the ability to get re-prints done, as some were offered in the auction and of course there are new players that would require new sizes and numbers. Unless they thought of this many months ago, I don't think they'll have time to pull it off.

The Bradley home uniforms prior to the 1950's were not really what we would call red & white.
They were actually a deep red/maroon on off-white/cream. I have many old photos as well as actually owning
some jerseys from that era. Also, the "throwback" jerseys from 1993 were also maroon and slightly off-white.
I also have a Bradley sweatshirt from that era and it is maroon.

Below is a photo of a couple of the old jerseys I have.

The #45 is from the era 1948-51 (they utilized the same jerseys for more than a single season) - and it's the same era
and same style jersey that this photo of Paul Unruh was taken, and later used to put onto his basketball rookie card- https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/n78AA...yG4/s-l400.jpg

The #15 is from December 1993 throwback game at the Fieldhouse
