I would guess Race KowAlczyk would be Tod Kowalczyk’s son. Tod is the head coach at Toledo and Brian worked for him as an assistant at Green Bay and succeeded him as the Green Bay head coach. That is the connection that got Toledo on the schedule a couple of years ago.

There were a large number of visitors at the Red-White scrimmage today. Among them was:

Still working on trying to find the names of others from Wisconsin who visited today...
But at least two recruits with current or past local connections were at the scrimmage-
2025 Matt Zobrist- https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/s...46-2023-and-beyond-recruits/page26#post512340
2024 Dekwon Brown- https://www.verbalcommits.com/players/dekwon-brown

And previously reported-
2026 Lincoln Williams- https://twitter.com/jakelieberman2/status/1715422735025713380
2025- Ben Winker- https://twitter.com/jakelieberman2/status/1714838208364663263

On an unofficial visit, the recruit and his family must pay for their own expenses to visit, but can make as many unofficial visits as they want. The recruit cannot participate in any on-campus official practices, or receive any perks or benefits, other than tickets to a game, so they could have attended, but not participated in something like the Red-White scrimmage. However, they can scrimmage in an "open gym" type of event, as long as the coaches aren't present.
