2025 and beyond recruits

Bradley offers juco point guard Brody Robinson - https://twitter.com/brodyrobinson_/status/1768353921209172262
He averaged 20.4 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 8.4 apg, and shot 37.3% from three, and 85.5% from the FT line.
His final stats for 2023-24- https://www.gobroncbusters.com/sports/mbkb/2023-24/players/brodyrobinsong70k

He might continue the Bradley tradition of small, quick point guards. :)

I like him. He reminds me of Bowen Born

And this is a kid Bradley might consider contacting. I do not know if they have, but he looks interesting, and he has a connection to one of the current Bradley players.
Milos Vicentic- he is a 6'8", 220 lb junior forward at Division II McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois, who just entered the transfer portal. He is from Belgrade, Serbia, and played with Ahmet Jonovic on the OKK Belgrade team. This season as a junior, he lead the team in scoring with 21.5 ppg, and shot 41.2% from three, and 53.3% overall. He also averaged 5.0 rpg,

do you not recall this player was mentioned and discussed a couple months ago

well kept secret...
McKendree University, 2 hrs south of Bradley University, just moved up to DII & are doing very well thanks mostly to two solid 6-8 guys
who are reminiscent of Humrichous at Evansville.
Milos Vicentic (23 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 39.2% from 3pt, 84% FT) and Caleb Zurliene (15.1 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 39.3% from 3pt, 82% FT).
Both have their Covid year left, so you hafta think there are DI schools checking in on them.

maybe Koch Bar's country-mate and friend 7-2 Chol Marial would consider spending his Covid year at BU since he barely plays at Oregon State.

Here is another transfer portal player that Bradley has been in contact with-
Xavier Amos- 6'8" sophomore forward who has played at Northern Illinois the last 2 seasons. He attended high school at Whitney Young HS in Chicago, and Bradley recruited him in high school, but apparently never offered. He played in 8 games as a freshman, but played in and started 25 games as a sophomore this past season. He averaged 13.8 ppg, 5.6 rpg, and shot 49.6% overall and 38.5% from three.

No thanks, tired of getting guys that hardly played at a bigger school and thinking they will be better at BU. The guy is 7-2 and hardly plays for a reason. Ellis and Pettigrew were suppose to be good and came from great basketball schools yet hardly played probably because they turned out to be below ave. players. Find proven players in the portal or at JUCO because there are plenty to go around now.

Bradley is recruiting this portal player- Quentin Jones- 6'5" freshman guard at Cal Poly. He is from Hazel Crest, Illinois and attended Marian Catholic HS.
In his one season at Cal Poly, he started 31 of 32 games, and averaged 9.7 ppg, 4.4 rpg, and shot 40.2% from three.

A couple more names from the portal that Bradley has reportedly contacted-

Anthony "Ant" Morales- 6'8" senior forward at Boston University. He is originally from Boston. He has played 4 seasons at BU, and this past season he averaged 10.9 ppg and 4.3 rpg, though he was limited to 17 games played due to injury. He shot 38.5% from three/

Colin O'Rourke, a 6'8" senior forward at D2 Wisconsin-Parkside. This past season, he played in 29 games, and started all of them. he played 33 minutes per game, and averaged 16.1 ppg, 6.0 rpg, and he shot 36.3% from three.

Another D2 transfer portal kid that Bradley has interest in-
James "Biggie" Patterson, a 6'7" sophomore at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY. That was the school that Lou Griffith transferred to after spending his freshman season (2016-17) with the Braves. Patterson is originally from Richmond, Virginia. This year as a sophomore, he averaged 23.9 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, and he shot 44.0% overall and 35.9% from three. As a freshman he averaged 14.4 ppg and 7.1 rpg.

Bradley "has been in contact with" Jake Davis, a 6'6" freshman at Mercer University. He averaged 9.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and shot 38.7% from three this past season.
He is originally from McCordsville, Indiana and attended Indianapolis Cathedral HS. He played with the Indiana Elite program. He is reportedly entering the transfer portal-

Ever wonder if any players will spend 4 years at a college any more?

Guys like Zach Edey, who are at the top of the talent pool in college basketball but don't translate to the NBA will. NIL is better for them than playing overseas or in the NBA G-League etc. So some of those guys will definitely stay at the same school for their entire tenure, assuming they were able to get a scholarship at one of the top NIL schools as a freshman.

One more name for tonight- Cortaviaus Seales, a 6'1" guard originally from the Davenport, Iowa area. He played college ball initially at Northern Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, Iowa. Then he spent a year at Blackhawk Community College in Moline, IL. This past year he played at Western New Mexico University, a Division II school in Silver City, New Mexico. He averaged 18.5 ppg, 3.3 rpg, and 2.6 apg, and he shot 42.3% overall and 43.7% from three. He just entered the transfer portal with 1 season of eligibility left.

A couple more D2 players that Bradley has shown interest in-
Northern Michigan 6'4" sophomore guard Max Weisbrod. Northern Michigan finished 22-11, and 14-4 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Weisbrod lead the team with 17.2 ppg, 3.3 rpg, and 4.4 apg, and he shot 43.3% overall and 39.1% from three. He is originally from DeForest, Wisconsin.

And Marcus Johnson, 6'7" junior forward, originally from Akron, Ohio, at Wheeling University in Wheeling, West Virginia. He averaged 21.6 ppg and 7.9 rpg this season. He shot 47.2% overall and 44.7% from three. He also lead the team in assists (3.1 apg).

A couple more D2 names-
Sergey Grishaev of Rollins College. He is a 6'10" forward originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. He attended The Sagemont School, a prep school in Weston, Florida, and has been at D2 Rollins College the last 3 seasons. As a junior this past season, he averaged 27.4 minutes, 12.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and he shot 50.6% overall, and 39.5% from three.

Malcolm Christie- 6'5" junior guard at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. This past season he averaged 22.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and he shot 42.1% overall and 36.4% from three.

Hersey Hawkins style

Malcolm Christie is one of the best pure shooters not in Division I. He has a lot of teams interested, including some major schools.
NIL money has caused a lot of these types of players from D2, D3, NAIA, and Canadian schools to want to transfer to D1. They will settle for being a role player in return for NIL money.

Wisconsin sophomore guard Connor Essegian is entering the transfer portal - https://www.buckys5thquarter.com/wi...sfer-portal-greg-gard-aj-storr-chucky-hepburn

Our coaches are familiar with him from playing with Indiana Elite program, run by Mark Adams, father of Drew Adams. Essegian was a high scorer at Central Noble High School in Albion, Indiana. He finished with 2,526 points in his high school career, and was a finalist for Mr. Basketball in Indiana his senior year.
As a freshman at Wisconsin, he was 3rd on the team in scoring with a 11.7 ppg average, and he had 14 points and 5 rebounds in Wisconsin's win over Bradley in last year's NIT. But this year, his role was reduced to averaging just 7 minutes off the bench, and 3.2 ppg. He could be considering a transfer to a mid-major, and Bradley would be a candidate.
