2025 and beyond recruits

Bradley recently was in contact with a 2024 juco point guard 5'10" Brody Robinson at Garden City Community College. He is originally from Houston, and spent one season at Chattanooga (2022-23), and transferred to GCCC this season. He averages 19.3 ppg, 5.3 rpg, and 8.8 apg.- https://verbalcommits.com/players/brody-robinson

He averaged 20.4 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 8.4 apg, and shot 37.3% from three, and 85.5% from the FT line.

One-time Bradley recruit Brody Robinson commits to University of Texas-Arlington - https://twitter.com/brodyrobinson_/status/1785387049492632029

That is a bit of a surprise, considering he had offers from some pretty good mid-majors like Bradley, Stetson, Fordham, Oral Roberts, Southern Utah, St. Louis, Oakland, Chattanooga, and others. But now he will be playing in the WAC for a team that has made the NCAA Tournament once in its 56 year history.

I really liked him.

Nobody knows how good he'll be at the DI level again- But I would have loved to see him at Bradley.
.... in the one season he played at UT-Chattanooga, he hit 39% from 3-pt.
and his 37.3% from 3-pt this season at juco was on a very high volume of shots attempted, well over 200 on the season-
(way more than Tucker DeVries or SIU's Xavier Johnson and as many as Isaiah Swope took),
37.3% is also better than DeVries, Johnson or Swope accomplished in the MVC.

Only one other guy on his team shot over 32% so likely he had the best of their opponents' defenses thrown at him as well.
But note that he also went to the FT line 242 times (as much as anyone in the MVC - Xavier Johnson led the MVC with 246)
He also had 268 assists (8.4 asst/gm,), 48 steals and an Assist to Turnover Ratio of 2.8 to 1, which also would have led the MVC by far!
He was also 2nd on his team in rebounds, 5.4 rpg.

A couple new 2024 names Bradley has recently been in communication with-
2024 Michael "Isaia" Howard- 6'6" shooting guard from Plattsburg HS in Plattsburg, Missouri. He was previously committed to North Dakota State, but he just withdrew his commitment today. He was a prolific scorer in high school, totaling over 3,000 career points. He averaged over 34 points per game as a senior.

2024 Tómas Þrastarson (translates to Tomas Thrastarson)- 6'6" guard from Iceland who plays for Thor Thori of the Icelandic pro league where he averages 17.1 ppg, 5.6 rpg, and 2.7 apg playing mainly against professional players. He is shooting 59% overall, and 34% from three.

Icelandic recruit Tomas Thrastarson's season ended a week ago when his team Thor Thorlakshofn in the Icelandic pro league was eliminated from the playoffs. Tomas was one of the top players on his team, finishing the season with an average of 17.0 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 2.4 apg. He shot 62.4% on two pointers, and 31.4% from three. Not bad considering he is an amateur, just 18 years old, and the youngest player on the team. He's playing against mostly veteran pros who are in their 20's and 30's.

He seems to be the type of player Coach Wardle was describing that he was looking for with the next scholarship.
Not sure how seriously Bradley is still recruiting him, but maybe he'll be invited to make a visit.

Is this as typo or a walk-on candidate? I thought all the rides have been assigned for 2024.

He's an uncommitted 2024 recruit.
Where was there an official announcement that all 2024 scholarships have been assigned?

Your scholarship grid has 12 without counting Hardtke. Although it does include Linke which some have wondered about for next year. I can’t put my hands on it now but I believe I have seen comments on here about the end of the bench including Biliew, Hardtke, and Linke. In fact there has been quite a discussion on it.

The scholarship grids here and elsewhere are essentially guesses at this point. They are tentative and not official.
I don't know if Linke has made a definitive decision about returning, yet. And I haven't seen any official word that Cade Hardtke will be on scholarship. And though I don't know what the current situation might be, Coach Wardle was quoted in a recent PJ Star article saying he was still looking to sign another player, preferably a high school player.
