2026 NBA Draft Combine

The NBA has released a list of about 70 players invited to the NBA Draft Combine. They are nearly all from the Power Conference teams. There are 4 international players, and just 3 from mid-major schools- Peter Suder of Miami-Ohio, Izayiah Nelson of USF, and Allen Graves of Santa Clara. Only Graves is projected by most to be drafted in either the first or second rounds. Most of the players expected to be drafted high in the draft are not on this list. They don't have anything to gain by attending pre-draft camps.
It is just another sign of how large the separation is between the majors and the mid-majors. A number of these players started at mid-majors, but the NIL and the portal drew them to the major schools. Not only are the mid-majors becoming the minor leagues, they are relegated to accepting their fate as a far less talented level of basketball.

I don't have the time, but I would be curious how many of these players played at a MM during their careers.
