Drake played very well at Northern Iowa, and lead for most of the game. But then Northern Iowa pulled ahead in the final few minutes and won 83-73-

Here is the final play in the MSU-SIU game. The game was tied with 1.6 seconds left, and SIU was inbounding the ball under the MSU basket.
Ronnie Suggs threw about an 80 foot pass to freshman Marcus Domask, who was triple teamed but got off a prayer that went in for the 68-66 win.

Good for Ronnie! Shades of Jimmy throwing to Hersey in 1986!
Looking at the crowd in that clip, I Googled attendance and see SIU had more than 6,000 at that game. I think their success will mean SIU will have good support at Arch Madness, which is good for the Valley and the tournament.
I hope we can finish on a roll and somehow land in the MVC top 3, but I think we're more likely in the 4-5. And that will be a tough road to the tournament championship, with UNI likely in the semis. But it should be a fun tournament -- hopefully as fun as last year!
