And in a game between Ohio University of the MAC vs. Cleveland State of the Horizon League, Cleveland State was offensively challenged.

It's pretty uncommon for a mid-major D1 team to beat another by 55 points.
But an NCAA record was set in this game- Ohio U. scored 40 straight points in the game. That is a record for a game between 2 NCAA Division I teams.
With 1:41 left in the first half, Cleveland State scored a basket to cut Ohio's lead to 46-25. Ohio then scored the last 5 points of the 1st half.
The 2nd half started with a score of 51-25 in favor of Ohio U. Then Ohio ran off the first 35 points of the 2nd half to make the score 86-25. Cleveland State finally scored on a pair of free throws with 8:03 left in the game. So Ohio scored 40 straight points and Cleveland State went scoreless for 13 minutes and 38 seconds.

And while I was searching the record book, I found that Coach Brian Wardle has his name in the official NCAA Record Book.
