3 MVC games Wednesday 1/14

As much as I like to see isu lose. I think we need them to win this game, because more than likely we will not win our return trip to B/N. Any game Drake wins that we probably won't win is not good.
 
Just FYI, the Creighton/SIU game is on Fox Sports Net (CH. 57 in Peoria) and the isu/Drake game is on Channels 44 & 74 in Peoria. Personally, I want isu and SIU to win, that way we won't have a 3 way tie for 1st. Least for another few days anyways.

I'd rather have Creighton win if only that we don't end up facing a red hot SIU team this weekend. Three wins in a roll for them and they may end up being the most dangerous team in the Valley the rest of the way. Nope, let Creighton win since they are still a game behind us any way. Though I do see your point Jason that a Creighton loss puts them two games out of first and at least temporary takes them out of the race.

The Drake/isu game is interesting since an isu win puts Drake a game behind us and gets isu back on track so our win against them still holds up.

And the winner of MSU/WSU still has a shot to work their way out of Thursday night, if nothing else! ;)

Oh, Creighton/SIU will be tape delayed until 12:30 here in Chicago due to a Hawks game I believe. I'll tape it and watch it tomorrow morning since I'm off this week.
 
I find it very interesting that someone on their board thinks 7,600 is a good crowd. I'd have to disagree considering they're playing the team directly ahead of them in the standings. I believe they said the students are back too.

Yes they students started class Monday so they are back for this game

edit: foul on a 3 pointer for Creighton, chance to tie with 3 free throws and 3 seconds left

Creighton is THE luckiest team I have ever seen. What is going on with the valley? Does CU just have a mental block against SIUC and do we just have a mental block against CU or what? Why did we lose to CU at home? We better win on the return trip.
 
That was not a foul, it was as clean of a block as you could ever have, I do not care who wins but SIU got screwed at the end.
 
That wasn't a foul, but that is a prime example of why we need to improve in our free throws. SIUC will be tough, they are playing well, and will be ready for revenge against us with some confidence if they beat CU.
