Bradley as a team has 275 3-point FGs this season. (275-647)
This total has already long passed BU's previous record.
The conference record is 293 set two seasons ago by Creighton.

The NCAA record for 3 pointers in a season is 407 (407-1057) Duke, 2001.

Here are the individual totals:
Will Franklin 75-170
Jeremy Crouch 58-118
Daniel Ruffin 51-129
Danny Adams 51-119
Andrew Warren 18-37
JJ Tauai 17-56
Matt Salley 4-10
Brian Lavin 1-2

Are you talking the single season record?

That would be 90 three-pointers by Aaron Zobrist in 1996-1997.

Will is definitely within reach especially if BU can play several postseason games.

Here are the top 7 individual season totals:
90- Aaron Zobrist, 1996-1997
87- Hersey Hawkins, 1987-1988
84- Jerome Robinson, 2000-2001
80- Aaron Zobrist, 1994-1995
78- Phillip Gilbert, 2002-2003
75- Will Franklin 2006-2007 and still playing
73- Anthony Parker, 1995-1996

The career 3-point FG record is also held by Aaron Zobrist at 233, Phillip Gilbert is 2nd at 223, with Anthony Parker 3rd at 195, Rob Dye 4th at 182, and Marcellus Sommerville 5th at 153.

Jeremy Crouch has 119 in his career at present, and may be able to finish among the career leaders, but Will Franklin, because he will only play two years for BU as a juco transfer, presently has 92 in his career.

In 3-pt FG pct.
BU's individual season record is .460 (80-174) by Aaron Zobrist in 1994-1995.
BU's best year as a team was .391 in 1987-1988.

Presently Bradley is at 275-647, .425
Individually:
Will Franklin .441
Jeremy Crouch .492
Danny Adams .429
Andrew Warren .486

The MVC's record for team's best year was ISU in 1986-1987 at .458.

I would think so, as the team records and season records don't just stop at the end of league play.

Here are some other all time records from the NCAA

Division II-
Season record, 444 on 1303 attempts (both are all time season records) by Troy in 1992.

Division III-
Individual records,
Most 3-pointers in a game, 19 (1997-1998)
Most 3-pointers in a season 186 (1997-1998)
Most 3-pointers in a career 516
all by Jeff Clement

BUT---the team record is 595/1813 (both are records)
by Redlands in 2005.
Here is a little more about Redlands

Thanks, tornado.

So if BU continues on at their current clip of 10.2 3s/game, wins the MVC tournament and makes it to the NCAA final (!!!) then they'd finish with 408!

If Bradley gets eliminated in the 2nd round of the NCAA, they would need to average 14.7 3s/game to tie the record, which may be a bit more realistic of a goal.

How's about getting through a few rounds of the NIT? Now that might be a bit more realistic...
