I agree, pretty disheartening, LittleBrave. At the same time, I remember what it was like to be 20 years old, so I'm not ready to jump all over them as I remember some of the extremely poor decisions I've made in my life. I know for me, I sometimes expect them to have the maturity of an adult while their brains are literally still developing.

The good news at this point in time seems to be that none of the players were arrested or charged, so hoping for a good outcome soon.

Bradley issued this statement Thursday morning:

"As this situation and the investigation evolve, Ja’Shon Henry has been cleared of any accusations. Ja’Shon is neither a person of interest nor suspect in any case.

"He also has been cleared of possible student conduct violations. He will be rejoining team activities effective immediately."

"The investigation to determine if a crime or a violation of student code of conduct occurred with the remaining three players continues," Bradley's statement said. "They remain suspended from all basketball-related activities."

This is why we can’t overreact to situations we have no idea about. So glad that JaShon has been cleared and can play. Could not have been a good position to be in. As for the other 3 you just hope they will be cleared sooner than later so they can play as well. But I’m not as optimistic about that right now. Can’t say more than that.

Now this irritates me! Did a person accuse him of something he did not do but got punished for it ( got held out of 2 games ).
As a person who in my early teens got accused twice of something I did not do and the accuser walked away I am sensitive to this. I see to many times an accuser walkaway and nothing is done to hold them accountable. Ja'Shon needs to hold somebody accountable
 
Maybe they were all punished by the university because they were out partying or whatever they were doing after midnight of a game day. If there is any proof any of them were involved in something relating to sexual accusations I'm sure they will be held accountable.

But you can stand Jashon Henry because he was exonerated before the others? I think everyone needs to reserve judgement til we know more. Remember none have been charged or arrested and they were allowed to leave Missouri. Now if they are charged then let all insults fly wild...

Agreed with all but the last point. Even if charged, innocent til proven guilty, not vice versa. ;)
 
Still no update on this? It was good to see Ja'shon cleared fairly quickly, but troubling for the others. Something clearly did happen if they are taking this long to look into it.

There has not been anything new from the Springfield police. Maybe we'll hear something this week.
Ja'Shon shared an apartment-like suite with the other guys, but, from what I hear, it was clear from the start that Ja'Shon was not involved.
 
I'm still extremely proud to be a Brave and to be a fan of Bradley sports.

It occurred to me MANY universities would have immediately reinstated (or never suspended) their players until a thorough investigation had been COMPLETED (aka after the season was over- sound familiar ??).

In my (limited) opinion Bradley has and continues to take the high road.....

I'm proud of Coach Wardle, his staff and ALL The Bradley Men's Basketball players.

Doing the right thing isn't easy, that's why (far too) frequently people take the easy road.
