Missouri State was beaten by South Dakota State in the Cayman Islands Classic 3rd-4th place game, and it wasn't close. Another embarrassing loss for the MVC.

Belmont came back a little in the 2nd half, but still lose by 14 points to a mediocre Loyola Marymount (picked 6th in the West Coast Conference).
