4 MVC games Wednesday, Jan. 21

Evansville, who took Bradley to overtime 1 week ago and scored 90 points, managed only 49 points tonight and lost to UIC by 27-

Leif Moeller, who looked like a Player of the Year candidate against Bradley, had just 4 points tonight

Leif Moeller had 7 turnovers, Bryce Quinet fouled out and Alex Hemenway was 2-9 from the arc,
I think it's just hard to win on the road

In other action out side the MVC- Loyola went on the road to play A-10 last place St. Bonaventure, and
lost by 14, after leading in the 2nd half by 14! They were outscored 54-26 over the final 18 min
Loyola drops to 1-6 in the A-10, all alone in 14th place.

Miami (OH) goes to 20-0 with another close OT win vs Kent State
 
wow- Drake kinda put the hurt on Murray State

Jalen Quinn 34 pts, Owen Larson previously avg just 5 ppg had 22pts
The two teams combined to shoot 71 free throws.
 
UNI scores only 16 points in the first half and trails ISU 24-16

just turned to the Valpo/SIU game...
Coach Roger Powell does pretty darn good with the young roster and lack of talent...
just dominated SIU the whole game and finishes strong controlling the ball & playing keep away.
Nagy arguably has more talent but they are wild and out of control, take horrible shots, foul too much & don't share the ball.
They take flying fade-away 3-pointers when their overall team 3-pt shooting is only 28%

Nagy is only in his 2nd year at SIU, so he's not on the hot seat, but fans are gonna dry up fast with this ugly style of play.

ISU has only 37 points with 11 min left but UNI only has 28... another ugly game... lot of them tonight...

Walker is 1-5 & 4 fouls, Kinziger is 2-10- how are these guys considered 1st Teamers?

I doubt we win at Drake...i picture this scenario of Drake parading to the foul line 30 to 40 times...that's just tough to overcome.

Last night at home vs Indiana St was first time in Looooong time I remember such a free throw disparity in favor of BU...26-7.

We clobbered Drake at home, no reason why we can"t beat them on the road.

Yeah, I think we'll be favored. Drake is just 5-6 at home this season, even after their upset win over Murray State. That is worse than 9 of the other 10 teams. Only Evansville's 3-7 record is worse.
