Charleston beat UMass in their opening game of the tournament on Friday 69-65, but lost to Yale in the semifinal on Sunday 63-74.
Evansville beat Oregon State Friday and lost to Akron Sunday to end up in the consolation final today.
Connor Hickman has played his first 2 games for Charleston in the Paradise Jam. He started both games, and played 34 and 35 minutes. But his shooting has been off so far. He scored 9 & 14 points in the two games, but shot only 7-27 combined, and 3-15 from three.

Murray State had the classic Dave Snell stuck on a number in the first half.
They led early 8-2 but by the time they scored their next basket 11 minutes later, it was 25-10.
McNeese’s lead grew to 31 pts in the 2nd half and the starters got a lot of rest.
