5 MVC games Saturday, Jan. 11

MS is starting to play like the preseason favorite NIU is a 1.5 pt favorite I will be pulling for MS at home, a very big game in the valley.

UNI jumped out to a big early lead, never trailed, and lead by 20 points a little over 8 minutes into the game. They extended their lead to 34 points in the 2nd half, and coasted to an easy win at Missouri State (Bradley's next opponent) 80-57-

Loyola built a 21 point lead in the first half and easily beat Evansville 78-44. Evansville's season has gone south in a hurry--

Valparaiso trailed almost the entire 2nd half, but then scored the last 6 points to pull out a close win at home over Drake 66-61.
Drake was just 2-20 from three.-
