Valparaiso wins their first MVC game to go to 1-3, and UIC drops to 0-4 in the MVC.

Indiana State blows a late lead at Drake by missing their last 5 shots, and committing 4 turnovers in the final minutes to allow Drake to come from behind for the win. Drake improves to 2-2 in the MVC and Indiana State drops to 2-2.

UNI (4-0) jumps out to a 18 point first half lead, never trails, and coasts to the easy win at Evansville (0-5). UE was 1-14 from three.

The only upset was by SIU. Despite Belmont's 54% FG% and 18 turnovers by SIU, the Salukis managed to stay close most of the game. Then Belmont opened a 9 point lead with under 3 minutes left, but SIU outscored Belmont 13-3 over the final 2:44 to win by 1 point.
Here is a video of the winning basket. Quen'Ron House took the inbounds pass and went coast to coast to score at the buzzer and give SIU the 68-67 win in Nashville. SIU improves to 2-3. Belmont drops to 3-2.
