6 MVC games Wednesday, Feb. 21

We need to win on Wed. if we expect to be alone in 3rd place. Hoping we can figure things out and get on another winning streak before the Tour.
 
Couple of big games tonight besides ours. Murray St plays at SIU. The Salukis won by 2 last month so Murray needs to get that win back or they lose the tiebreaker and they will be 2 games behind SIU. Never a good thing in a multi tiebreaker if your the team that's lost twice to the team you're tied with. Belmont has a chance to make a statement at Drake. Also how does ISU Blue respond to losing 2 in a row. Should be a fun night.

Alright, ISU is starting to scare me, they are hot right now. Glad we already beat them at ISU, hopefully no surprises and we handle them just fine at home saturday evening.
 
SIU is just nipping at us aren’t they? Sneaking by teams and keeping the pressure on. We have to win Saturday so that we can keep that one game cushion and don’t give them an opening to take us out when we play them. Winning Saturday may even give us a little cushion if they do slip up.
 
UIC won last night, beating Evansville. After the game, the players went into the stands to greet and thank the fans for coming.

I doubt there were even that many people there. They probably count no-shows.
That dropped their average for the season to 2,953, which ranks them 10th in the MVC​
