62 BU @ 68 siu...post game

It was stated earlier in the year that this teams shots were charted in practice and it is a very good shooting team. Was the very good shooters just the 2 players who are injured? This BU team needs to find a way to shoot better or the other teams will just continue to pack it in the paint even more.

That.......and foul us at every opportunity!

But DC....is someones honest assesment of how THAT individual see's the team, its performance and whatever they see that we do well or need improvement on "negative" in the sense I THINK you mean. And I'll ask Chitown the same thing.....is DC's "painting" of what HE sees simple Kool Aid? My answer is no...TWO individuals can see the SAME product in different ways with neither being wrong..

Clearly a FEW...very few IMO.....trash BU, coach Les and this team with some hidden agenda. ( still angry over Les hired vs McClain for ex.) I don't take Chitowns side nor do I take yours but I understand and respect where each one of you is coming from. Call me Switzerland but you BOTH make good arguments......we are not ALL going to see things in the same light.

I also don't think I have found ONE poster on this board that posts fairly regular that has any hidden agenda or hatred, if you will, of BU and the team.

This lack of effort argument is really simple semantics IMO. To me it was a case of play smarter NOT harder.....

geez dogs....do you have to be so level headed?:D

I just subscribe to the Rodney King motto...."can't we all just get along?" :) While thats not going to happen we CAN be a bit more open minded and understand we all can't see things the same way.

One mans trash might be another mans treasure....

I agree Dogs, and that leads me back to my original post in this thread....it's hard for me to believe that DC actually believes what he wrote based on our performance Sunday night. Because I view it differently, my mind can't fathom how 17 points and 12 turnovers in a half is acceptable effort. and while it may be semantics, regardless of what you call it, I don't think we should be "proud" of them as he suggested, after a game like that.

I stand by what I saw firsthand. The effort was very good. Sorry you don't understand that there is a difference between effort and results. They are totally different things.

As I posted earlier.. I was also at the game just 5 rows off the court. I too thought the effort was solid from most of the players. What disappointed me was the interior defense.. way to many easy baskets. I think Coach Les had the same feeling as well.. he kept yanking Collins or Singh.. whoever was in at the time.

I also understand this is not a good shooting team.. but someone has to stop and pop an 8-10 footer sometime. There was never a reason for the defense to come out.. they just had to wait for the guy driving to the basket to get there.

It's Tuesday guys.
