Slightly off topic--

Has anyone else seen this kid Aaron Durley? He plays for the Dhahran, Saudi Arabia team in the Little League World Series.
He is a monstrously big kid at 6'8", 256 pounds.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Bob Huggins was on a flight to So. Williamsport, PA, the site of the Little League World Series?

I saw something, I think on CNN Headline news this morning about him with a comparison to Shaq at the same age. Shaq wore 16s, this kid wears 19s, Shaq was 6'6", this kid is 6'8".

Just amazing, I want to see some of their games, just to see if this kid is at all coordinated. He has a huge strike zone, even for a major leaguer!

Tyler is going to Midland, and is ranked #11 in the state for the class of 2011. He also doesnt like to leave home much for tournies and stuff which would lead me to believe he would want to stay close to home for college...
Future Bradley Brave?

That means he is in the Varna area - right?

Varna is a small town a little north of Peoria (up 29 then East on 17 past Lacon) - you blink your eyes as you pass through and you might miss it.

Lacon and Sparland are also feeders for Midland High School.

Yes... and so is Lake Wildwood, right?

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't consider a kid from any of those towns as a 'kid from Peoria'... then again, everything down state is foreign to people from Chicagoland.

Just messing with you Daniel (Poneman). Keep up the great work and while keeping us informed.
