I would be really happy about this win if not for the injury to WE....lets hope for the best!

The Braves hit 13 3's tonight....DD and CR continue to impress! :D

I as thinking a thread has not even started and I believe its the WE effect. We are all feeling a bit stunned. JL did say that there was not a lot of swelling which is a good sign but will know after his MRI tomorrow.

From my seats...WE got a nice pass inside and turned to set up a monster dunk from just outside the paint and his knee just went out.....the ball just went out of bounds and WE layed there for a long time....hope its not serious ...but it looked bad from our seats! Would have liked to seen AT get off the bench but for some reason he didn't...if will is out for the Michigan State game AT will be neede IMO...lets get him a couple of minutes...PLEASE? :o

For those of us who did not hear or see the game, what exactly happened to Egolf? Did he just land funny on his foot or what? And when did this happen?

Never mind. You just answered my previous question.

Well, let's hope it's just a bad sprain. With the MSU game 8 days away (and probably a game we wouldn't win anyway, but you never know), hopefully he's back in time for the Butler game at least. But from what I'm reading, I'm not feeling too good at the moment. I hope I'm wrong though.

yup

The team looked much better in several ways... For the most part (especially in the first half), man-to-man and transition defense looked way better. The zone still looks a little bit awkward though. I liked Sammy's decision-making with the ball, and everyone looked a lot more comfortable with each other..

The down side is that a lot of the passion and intensity fell apart when Will got carried off... Here's hoping that it was a hyper extension or minor sprain!!! Those looked like plausible injuries from my angle.

I know we played a short-handed team, but I was happy with the effort.

I think I heard on the post game that SM had ZERO T/Os for the game and EM only had 2! Not bad from the point guards! :D

Yeah...doctors on the board...post your opinions of what it looked like from your angles!!! haha

did he turn and it went out while on the ground while turning or did he jump a little and it went out on the jump?

WE turned real fast setting up a jump to the rim and fell flat real fast....he went down quickly....so there was no doubt right away he was hurt...the crowd went silent for a long time! Not good really...but lets hope for some good news!

he was moving from right to left and his knee went out,.
It has to be a ligament injury, and I hope it's a mild to moderate one that'll heal in a few weeks.

so he twisted it...hopefully it's just a bad sprain...we're going to need him this conference season big time. Yeah I was listening to it on the radio and I could tell how quiet it was...it was irksome over the radio! You all know that humming sound in the arena when it's really quiet....well I could hear that CLEARLY on the radio.....on the RADIO!

WE was showing signs of an active big man....very exciting to say the least....he has a chance to do some good things on the hilltop if he keeps up the aggressive play @ the 5! :D

From where I was seated, it looked very awkward in regards to his knee. There was no one around him, so it wasn't a collision. He received a pass and landed to turn and head to the basket and he dropped. There was a collective gasp when he went down, then pretty much silence. Standing O as he was helped off the court, which was great.

I am not a DOC, , Sorry, but doubt it. I have seen this happen TO many times. Just the way he grabbed his knee, shows me he was in INTENSE discomfort. Hope this is not both MCL and ACL ala Shaun Livingston.
Really hope you are right Tornado!!!!!!!!!!!
Not to overlook the fact that Will is a great person, but our offense just flows better with a big athletic, defense minded center, who can score. Without him, we seem to struggle.
He came into the Richmond game and we played considerably better, and won.
Tonight we looked awesome, until he went down.
However, my thoughts and prayers are with Will as a person.
