And this is a challenge 'made for tv'?

The Illini/Md game was good. I guess Mich/NC St was ok.

But Wisky/Fl St game was not a big lure.

Duke is handing it to Indy - but it could get better.

And the NW'rn/Miami game... whoa, I think I have seen better grade school girls games.

Will tomorrow get better?

I would hope the OSU/UNC game would be TV-worthy.

Illinois' 1st half shooting was terrible, and the only difference between their game tonight and their game with BU was that Jamar Smith didn't swoop in and save the day. I wonder if Bruce is 2nd guessing himself on playing Jamar to get a neutral court win over BU instead of to have him ready for a home game against a ranked team. Seems like come Selection Sunday, one game might mean a little more than the other one.

Duke/Indy turned out to be a fun one to watch.

But geez - Duke has some young players and their lofty ranking is suspect IMO.

So Illinois' streak ends at 51. The Illini have shown weakness every time they've played a quality opponent (BU and Maryland). UI better step up if they want to make the NCAA.

Lance Stemler didn't play in the IU/Duke game. It was reported that Lance suffered a concussion in a practice Sunday and is unable to play and even suffered some memory loss after the concussion.

And I am surprised there's not more discussion about the Illinois/Maryland game....but I guess this was one of those games that most BU fans really didn't care who won.

But in the Illini game many observers, the announcers, and columnists have wondered why Jamar Smith didn't play more in the second half.
It turns out that Weber's lust to win the game over Bradley has exposed some questionable coaching judgement on Bruce Weber's part.
Because of the use of Jamar over the weekend which helped Illinois beat Bradley, Jamar appears to have tweaked his injured ankle and is now hobbling. One report says he limped off the court after the BU game and another report says
"He was not 100% when he played against Bradley and probably won't be for another couple of weeks. His ankle is just is not strong enough, and he may still see limited action for the next couple weeks."

In other words, Weber wanted to win the BU game badly enough that he was willing to jeopardize this Big Ten/ACC game and even potentially the rest of the season.
